Kicking outside in the 50's degree weather on Sunday was nice.We played for a few hours and there were 5 of us! nice turnout. Everyone was playing well. I played ok. Spins were ok. I was having fun. My sleep has been jacked lately. Going to sleep late and waking up late and that's messing with my footbag training. Will correct tonight.

After we went to Pizza Tour stop #2:
The Art of Pizza
Stuffed Pizza: 4/5 = Would stop and eat again if in area
Thin Pizza: 2/5 = Would not order again

I was surprised at how good the pizza looked. And it smelled good too. Very surprising for a place that has a full menu of other things first and that sells pizza by the slice and that you have to order at the counter. The crust at the bottom was crunchy which was neither good or bad for me. The sausage in it was a bit frozen pizza tasting, so I might try something else next time. The thin was pretty bland and maybe didn't have enough sauce. Reile looked up reviews and found them split. I guess my vote is split on either pizza.

edit: Josh was playing consistent as ever. And more importantly more smooth. Props. Jake is eggbeater master.
Nathan, how was the weather? I'm glad you came out, and perhaps changed your mind on your degree threshold for outside. I remember making a note of the coldest temp i would kick at outside with 2 shirts on on a daily basis, and I think that was 47. It's been beneficial for me to know how to plan my outsidedness. Props on that illusion I gave you props for. Oh snap - Double props.

Woke up quick at about 0445AM, just thought that I'd have to be at Compton soon. My sleep as been weird, but I was able to crash @ 11pm and awoke at 445AM. Sesh @ 530AM.

Tried this cool combo: gyro mirage> toe spinning osis. Didn't hit it though. I've only hit toe spinning osis 1x each side, so I figured I'd scratch the gyro mirage and drill some of those. No one really does them and they are styley. I need to diversify. No dice though. So I hit 10x toe spinning clipper (rt).

I was starting to do the other side and felt like trying flip barfly. The set and form was horrible and I wasn't getting it. I'm not super consistent with flip barfly but this was bullshit. I kept trying and trying and got so frustrated I screamed and growled in one. I scrowled. I eventually hit it 4 times in a row and 10 times altogether.

It's prolly a good thing I didn't hit that first combo because I wouldn't be as motivated to hit it more now.

Random: I'd like to visit montreal sometime. Zac Miley has good style. I wish Zach J and Henry lived here. I wish Reile played footbag. I wish Tim played footbag. I wish Matt Kain was still around the forum. We all dislke ourselves at times, but I wish Z would know he is great person and very likable and can achieve anything he wants. I wish Al was never shady. I will possibly go to Europe in April or May and stay 3 weeks to a few months.

Re: weather. I didn't change my mind. It was nice to get outside. But I can't find a happy temperate medium between too many layers while kicking and too few while not kicking.

It will be nice to get outside on the occasional day when it gets into the 50s, but until then, I'm gonna keep kicking at the YMCA.

I started wearing my new shoes. They are so white. They were really tight by the toe when I first wore them; I was thinking I'd have to mod them to wear 'em, but after a few hours they're all good.

Haven't kicked since last outdoor sesh last Sunday. And some squares on thursday which was enjoyable.

almost melted twix with peanut butter spread on is soooo good.

I walked my little dog at night. This cat was following us - a young cat I think. Probably thought my dog was fellow cat. Kept trailing us, and then my dog rolled up, and she ran away.

Worked some zooming mirages today. Also Stepping ss osis> zoomirage BS

I randomly tried flip scorpion's tail, and it was so money, but no dice. Need more practice. It's weird b/c I've only hit good side once. But it felt on like donkey kong. Snapped off 2 flip blurriests! Then 2 good side (which took longer). Then I thought I'd school the old terrage (20x BS).

I wanted to hit fury so I was gonna warm up the old high stepping set with some clipper set double pickups. I did 7, then paused to try a TATW for giggles. close! jumping around in excitement. Tried a few more times. Hit entourage 2x.
1129AM I got the camera.
1134AM hit TATW first time.
1147AM hit TATW 4x

I put up a vid of my TATWs on youtube. Thanks to y'all who've already commented on there. Comments here are cool. I was really excited when I hit them. On video review I wish the third dex was a little more sexy, but I consider it good and clean just not perfect. Makes me wanna make a high frame rate super clean super slow mo version - like that LNJ video with finland in it.

Original uncut mix with much silliness
same video, but just the TATWs, no extras

Nice! Of course I watched the longer video with extra goodness.

Very nice Tom! I love your reactions, but you've still gotta work up to the calibre of my trademark silliness after big tricks. School the reactions, the tricks will come.

Thanks for your comments y'all. :)

40 degrees today and wet. But no wind. I got on my bike and went to the park because I saw some cover there, but it was wet when I arrived. It really wasn't cold at all. I thought about Wright college because it has cover too, so I started heading over there.

It was so nice being on my bike listening to music. A little after I left from the park, I slowed and moved to the side for this man, but he started walking right into my path! I dodged him and looked bag to see his half retard Mick Jagger face say "they call it sideWALK," but I promptly shut him up with a sweet sounding 'fuck you'. It was so innocent sounding and heartfelt; just something he needed to hear, I wasn't angry.

Moving on, I arrived @ Wright. it was wet under the cover, but I went inside. I got a letter years ago asking me to pick up my corrected diploma (even though the one I have doesn't have an error), so I finally picked up the other one - 7 years late.

I ended up kicking in Tommy's garage. I was quite warm and loose, and had a great session.

Highlights:
weaving legover BS
flip swirl sandwiched in between 2 moves - the only way I'll be able to throw it in strings.
jani walker
close downtime toe flux

almost entourage (with shoes) and scorpion's tail. so money, but both of my footbags rolled into the alley and got wet so I stopped.

I hit entourage in shoes first time (rt), toe merkon (rt), and stepping ss butterfly swirl (lft) this week. I thought of this cool combo on the train before our FtB/Shawn sesh, and I hit it: terrage>dod>flurry

Kicked @ portage today:
20 torques BS - have neglected them
20 DOD BS - also neglected

I tried marius, which seems pretty impossible to me, but I got to a point where I could see it happening.

I was on the tennis court, and this dude who was playing came walking back in. He said something to me. I paused my music so I could hear, and asked him to repeat. He said, "forget it. You snooze, you lose." Weird. I didn't get angry, but thought about it. I thought it best to forget about it.
