A little bird told me Aidan and Flash are definitely coming. NYFA, Steel City, Pete Irish and Flash... shaping up to be a pretty fun-looking weekend. 8)

Is there somewhere SCF can crash? We will be there on Friday afternoon or early evening.

Of course! Ya'll can definitely crash at my place. I am pretty sure we have enough room at my house for anyone who wants to stay, but there is also some space with my parents.

Anyone who wants crash space, please give me a call as soon as you can.

Jake and I are planning on coming into the DC/Maryland area in the afternoon or early evening. Is anyone else planning to get together earlier that night? I would be down for some light-shred, bite, drink, whatever.

the bag is absolutely beautiful, Waylon! :)

here is a website for the club where Vince's band will be playing Friday night: http://www.iotaclubandcafe.com/

The address to the club is on there for directions and such. He said they will be playing around 11:30pm

Is anyone coming Friday night under 21? If so and they want to go to the show, if you are Vince's roadie then they will let you in. This involves carrying his bass into the club. Maybe speakers..

Also, is there anyone who doesn't want to go to the show?

The club's no where near College Park/event site, and Metro's kinda funky to get there too, so I imagine this will be fairly difficult to get to unless everyone goes together on the Metro. I guess Adrienne's got this taken care of, but you would have to take the Metro to Clarendon which is on the Blue line, and walk about half a mile or so down Clarendon Blvd.

I don't know what I'm doing Friday night yet, I'll probably go to this thing, but if anyone is lost during this whole tournament PLEASE keep my number handy. I've lived in DC my whole life, will have my car, and can easily pick you up from anywhere. See you guys soon.

Thanks Chris!

Here is the website where you can find the schedules and a map for the metro:
http://www.wmata.com/

The show is at the Clarendon stop (which is actually on the orange line) like Chris said and my house/the sight are at the College Park/U of MD stop (green line). If you want to get back to College Park by metro with a padding in time, the last train to take would be a little after 2:02am at the Clarendon stop. Then you have a few more trains that go back to College Park on the green line. The trip is about 40 minutes by metro, maybe 30 by car.

This was one of the craziest weekends of my entire life. Besides that one terrible incident I thought the tournament was a lot of fun and a great success. It was so much fun hanging out with everyone, and the kicking was a lot of fun as well. Thank you so much Adrienne, I think you did a great job running this event and what happened is in no way your fault at all.

Hey guys, I just want to let everyone know that I did black out last night, and I don't remember anything from the second half of the poker game til the point where I was on the floor being held down, and I was fading in and out during that whole thing. Also, I wrote some stuff in this thread when I got home, and I was still drunk when I wrote that. This is not an excuse at all, but it is an explanation.

Anyway, I've sent PMs to Ken and Adrienne and I'm extremely upset about this. Today I'm going to an AA meeting, and I'm also going to quit footbag, at least for a while. I hurt someone that I admire and look up to, and pretty much the nicest guy I've ever met. I hope Ken has an easier time than me getting past this moment, because it's literally Hell for me right now. My life's pretty much ruined, and I have to spend it now trying to not do stupid things like this ever again. It was a great tournament, I wholeheartedly apologize for my actions. This will be my last post on Modified. Take care everyone, I wish you the best in life.

I just wanted to to say a few things. FIRST of all, I think that Adrienne did an awesome job. Not only did she have water for everyone, a player's package (with a kick-ass poster, water, Archer Farms granola bar, stickers...) needless to say, Adrienne rocked the house with the Shred for Savy setup. Thank you for such a great location, sleeping arrangements, and on top of that, when she came home, she made food for everyone!!! Personally, I thought that one of the best parts was the cake. MMMMMMM was it tasty. I know that it's 49 min early but, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADRIENNE!!! I do wish you all the best and hope that your mom doesn't surprise you tomorrow with her wonderful idea. Well, now that I think about it, maybe it would have been better if you would have went to your "surprise," at least you would have missed all the drama; ha ha ha, but at what price! Ha ha. I still find it so funny that Ted wanted to take you there. Happy birthday to Edna, too; I am sorry that I didn't know early enough to say that to you Edna. All in all, it is more than a shame that Ken was hurt, especially since he just had a root canal, but thanks to Vince (who is the MAN) and Adrienne everything went off without a hitch and everything ended up alright and Ken was able to get to the ER. Sorry it's sooo wordy, Flash just said it was too wordy; so there's a few more for ya.
