Dude Kevin, that was sick! I don't usually like rap/hip-hop that much (or should I just say I don't really listen to it) But I really liked that. Everything seemed to fit. I have this line in my head, do you mind if I add it to it?

Haha I see what you mean about the song being cheesy! Still very much enjoyed it, but of course it's impossible to take seriously.

Oh man I have to share something, this isn't me but it's romanian hiphop beats with this wicked 80s groove to it.. the band is called Celula 24:

I'm blown away by that production and their other work as well.

Made a new song using JFK samples. Was really feeling reverb I guess, cause it's heavily used. It's the first song:

It's kind of hard to hear what he says because of all the reverb, so here are the samples in order:

This has somehow turned into the "post your electronic only music" thread. Haha. So here's an (un)finished version of a song I'd like to call Emo Screamo Lazerbeamo. It's the first song on the player in the link at the bottom. It's a refined version of the song at the bottom of the player with the same name, but when it's a finished version it'll have a full band playing and I'll probably be playing acoustic instead. And I won't stumble on words. And the "screamo" part will be a little more in tune. Or out of tune, depending on my mood. But that's for the most part how it'll sound.

Haha nice intro. Nice band name. Enjoyed the song, but you get a bit nasal and Billy Korganish on your harder notes, something to watch out for.

Yeah, I noticed that too. When I first started playing guitar, the first songs I learned how to play were Smashing Pumpkins songs, so the next step was to sing and play, and my voice somewhat developed into a "Korganish" voice from playing and singing and trying to hit the same range as Billy Corgan. And the reason it's developed so much is because most times hard notes are easier to scream like that, at least for me. There's worse people to sound like though. Oh well, I'm working on it.

I wasn't saying anything bad, I was just making a statement. I don't have any of that shit either, just a really old acoustic guitar that my brother gave me (the neck has a huge crack in it

), and a cheap fender and small amp that I got for christmas. Truthfully, most of the songs I've written have been electronic, but they just don't sound as good as I want them to so I give you guys credit

As for Emo Screamo Lazerbeamo, it's all preference. I really don't like the music I write, and the tones the wording and singing in are all sarcastic and un-heartfelt. Do I dislike the whole emo movement and the people who follow it? Yes. But it really isn't really a song of my undying hate towards it. If it was, I'd probably be playing harsher sounding chords and using a lot more swears.

And if I were listening to a song and someone started screaming for no reason at a really high pitch, I would probably cringe, and my ears would probably hurt too
