I'm getting sick of all these disgusting misplaced apostrophes. We need to do something!

edit: By the way, I know this is completely unnecessary and uhhh... it's just for fun. I figured I'd pull a Hewitt and get a rise out of some people. It's also pretty hypocritical of me... whatever. I also know that grammar is spelled incorrectly.

i kind of feel like apostraphe placement fits more into incorrect spelling...or no, just punctuation. i guess it could all be subsections of grammar, but either way, there's enough of all three to go around.

Well, this isnt a school its an internet forum, so theres nothing really you can do against grammar at all, my view is that if you can read and comprehend what im saying then, everything thing is fine.

getting sick of apostrophies is more of a pet peeve in this case i think.

You can't really do much about incorrect grammar. A lot of people don't even care or realize they're making mistakes. How would you enforce something like that?

However, the white kid gangsta slang and heavy internet slang (i.e. omgz!!11 lolz0rz h4xor n00b, etc.) is something we could all do without.

I'm sitting here infront of my computer, watching this stupid flash video of cavemen saying stupid bullshit about 'babbys,' the only person awake, trying my hardest not to explode with laughter. I was seriously crying. My eyes weren't like just watering a little due to laughter, they were pouring. That was the funniest thing I've experienced in a long time.

Honestly, I can't spell. Before I graduated from college, I went to a specialist because I thought something was wrong with me. This individual, the bitch as I call here, said that some people just can't spell and no one knows why? Not only am I a horrible speller, but my grammar, the way I construct my sentences, is horrible. I rolled through high school and college English classes without having the slightest idea what was going on. Maybe I would retain some English concept, here and there, but then I would forget it the next day after the test. Just recently I've tried to figure out the English language. I spent about 8 hours reading about English on the internet over that last three weeks. Now, I feel as though my writing is a little bit better, but there is still plenty that confuses me. Can anyone else not spell? Is it normal?

The ban function. That would a) make people care and b) make them realise that they're making mistakes. Oh it also inherently enforces it, thus solving the problem!

Dude get firefox. It has an inbuilt dictionary. You don't need to be able to spell.

Yeah spell-checkers are vital. Any mail I send from work is rigorously checked and double-checked for the type of mistakes spell-checkers don't pick up.

Still, it's a slippery slope: I've noticed that I tend to accept the checker's corrections without really looking at what the mistake was. I guess this is counter-productive. This is even more true with the spell-checkers that automatically correct your errors.
