Oh, I totally forgot to post this, but Aaron got the job with the tortoises! So he's living in Vegas now. Yay, now we have a bona fide "crew"! It wouldn't be as awesome if Aaron wasn't as cool of a guy as he is. But since he is so awesome, this is MEGA awesome.

Good god Ben you put me to shame! I thought my thirty minute to one hour drills were decent but you're doing two to three hours a day almost I swear! Keep up the good work! Also are you going to Worlds this year?
Look a BLOG! That I never update

No, too much money. $2000 for a plane flight? Ya right. I'd rather spend $200 and go to the USO. I'm not good enough yet to spend that much on Worlds. Maybe if I had a chance of winning.

In regards to the long training, you just have to figure out how to play so that your body doesn't take so much "damage". Stretching helps tons. Proper form helps tons. Taking a day or two break every once in a while helps as well. Oh, and also don't play to the brink of exhaustion every session. Leave a couple of sessions feeling like you could play more.

Also, I'm not really playing all that much if you calculate the total time. I'm not even playing 10 hours a week. Stupid school is the reason. Once summer rolls around, I'll be playing more hopefully.

3 hour session.

Oh ya, and I'm having trouble figuring out whirling swirl and blender. Can't do more than 2 whirling swirls and more than like 4 blenders. It bugs me to no end.

1 hour session. Drilled atw and double atw. Pretty much entirely tiltless. I'm sore from yesterday for some reason. Stretching a lot today.

I have 2 programs due and 2 tests next week. So, I didn't play today even though I wanted to. Good news though, is that I started and finished one of my programs today. I'm way ahead of schedule now for completing all the stuff for next week. Yay! I'm so excited. I get to go to sleep at a reasonable hour!

I'm way below your level, but Blender and Whirling Swirl both seem to require a slow delay at the end. Just concentrate on that, rather than doing the next move after it.

You should post 1 highlight from each session. Please. :)

Props on the soon-to-be sleeping.

I guess I should've been more specific. With blenders the speed of the delay is not the problem, it's the position of it. I can't seem to get it to land in the little "laver pocket". It usually lands on the heel part and roll off or it lands above the pocket and rolls off towards my support leg.

With my whirling swirls, it's the effort required to hit the trick that bothers me.

I'll work on them today....again.

The fact that God lets me play this awesome game is my highlight. :D

2 hour session with Evan. Played ok.

Also, I've been thinking that it's probably best to drill atw(datw) both ways, symp whirls, and vortexes.

Atw's are the foundation of every toe trick. It improves balance while on one leg and dexing leg strength/coordination.

Symp whirls improve clipper balance and strength. As well as clipper set control.

Vortex works both one legged balance and clipper balance/accuracy.

Just thoughts.

1.5 hour session with Aaron. Played pretty well. My flip stepping was off though still. It's worrying me.

Hit illusion > ss illusion > rpt. I was stoked with this one.
