Anyone had the pleasure of partaking in Czech Easter?

A couple years ago I spent Easter with a very good friend of mine from Brno. We went to her family's cottage. On Sunday we drank and ate great food. The men gathered willow branches and we wove them into whips called "pomlazka"

You'll never get this. On Monday, the men wake the women up at 5:30am by beating them in the ass with the pomlazka until the women get up and pour shots for the men, and then cook breakfast. The men go around beating all the women they know, take shots of home made slivovice, and drinking home made wine. We went walking down the street, and this girls father would chase girls down the road to beat them, and then they would tie a ribbon around his pomlazka and kiss him on the cheek.

The tradition is that the beating with a fresh willow branch makes the women younger and healthier. It's gotta do something, because Czech women are amongst the finest I have met.

I agree with Ken and Matthias. Funnily enough I don't agree with the guy whose religion involves [Text removed due to explicit language]. Sure you can play your cultural relativism card again, but if I didn't think I was right I would have a different opinion (obviously).
