Thanks Ken!
Decided not to let this fall into the black hole of this blog!

Had a session today. It was pretty fun. Hit some drills that I haven't hit in awhile.

Highlight's;
Diving Clip > Ducking Clip rpt, almost twice through
Fear > Atom > Leg > Blur rpt
Drifter > Pdx Drifter rpt
Whirl War
Blurry Whirl b2b starting on flip
Atom x3 > Leg > Blur > rpt > run with Alpine Side mid-string
Blurriest > Pdx Dlo
Fairy Lo b2b > run with Plo b2b too
Fusion
Strong Mobius getting better!
Toe Drifter > Blur > Toe Ss Drifter > Blur > Toe Drifter > Blur (drop)
Pick up x10 > Lo x10, 26 contacts, all from toe

That's all I can remember. It was a good session. No vids though. I might start doing what Ken is. But I'm not sure yet.

I second Ken's comment. Your blenders are probably the best I've seen since Bowler's. Great video. Fusion's crazy so props on that. Take it easy, man. Peace.

i like them but you tend to start the dex too high, try doing them like a pdx whirl. right now it looks like they could be painful to your knees later.

good video though :P

dude, your game is lookin' smooth! I am really digging your blenders.

One thing constructive though:
when you do moves like pixie op mirage or fairy op mirage, your hips are pointing forward throughout, and I think this is an inefficient way to hit the trick. You might try having your hips/torso turn slightly in the same direction
that you are dexing after your first dex and then turning back to original position during your second dex.

If that didn't make sense, watch vids of people's smears and watch yours. They look different; analyze what is different.

Thanks everyone!

Jeremy, I'll work on that some more. I understand what your saying.

Had a session today. Filmed quite a bit of it. I'll get the vids up tomorrow.

Here's what I didn't get on tape;

Flip Barfly, TWICE!!! Needs more work though, just missed being on tape :cry:
Barfly bsos
Ducking Pickup bsos
An ok look at Alpine Fusion
Alpine Reactor, YAY!!
Fusion
Fairy Muted Clip > Pdx DLO, almost sauce
Toe Drifter > Barrage rpt
BAP drill > short run
Came close to Gyro Whirl b2b
Also came close to 10 Trip with my legs nearly dead. I think 6 or 7.

All the rest will be in there own lil vid like what Ken, the smartass, does :lol:

G'night fizzied

My Goonits are dying! I need new shred shoes!

Munster Bags are now on sale for $20!

Please order one (or two :wink: ) and help a fellow shredder out in getting some shoes!

Just had a session. Haven't kicked since last wednesday. Last wed. sucked! I had no stamina and my longest run was probably 10, + or - 2. It was awful! I did hit one new trick, bubbabeater, I footed flip!

Rubberman has become one of those "runs" that I hit every session. I've been doing this for quite awhile now! But after a week long break, plus a 3 day break makes that drill very hard! It took me quite awhile to hit it today.

Highlight's;
Rubberman
Clip > Op Clip rpt for 10 contacts > Duck Clip > Duck Clip rpt for 10 contacts, warm-up with my new Muffinbag! I believe that it has been infuzed with Erik's superb ability to do ducks :wink:
Eggbeater bsos, one out of Blur, the other out of Stepping Ss Lo, plus one Pdx Egg
Barfly bsos, with both mid-string!
Footed flip Food 8O
Ripped Warrior is easy, flip is still a bitch :evil:
Smear > Plo > Smear (drop), would've liked this rpt
Plo b2b rather easily
Fairy lo b2b easily

That's all I can remember. If I ever get the vids of my camera I'll post one of them in the Stephen Barnes one shot thread, and the other here!

Time to get back to work on my mixed media final for my color class. I'll post pics of it and of my other piece when I get it back from the srt show I entered.

Later.

Since the last time I had posted in here I've played probably 3 maybe 4 times.

Nothing too spectacular :cry: My game is slowly degressing :? My stamina sucks, and I'm losing my sets. I'm bailing more now then I have ever done and it's kinda depressing. Maybe it is because I need new shoes! If so, I fixed up my old laver's today so they might be shred worthy. I fixed the Brocka mod I did, and hopefully that'll help me keep shredding in them till I can get new shoes.

I did have a decent session today. Not the best, but it was ok.

Highlight's;
Footed flip Ps Whirl twice
Rip > Rip > Blur > Ss Symple Swirl > Osis > Infinity > Pdx Mirage > Ss Butter > Infinity > Pdx Mirage > Ss Symple Swirl > Osis > Infinity > Far Symple Swirl > Osis > Pdx Mirage > Ss Butter > Rip > Far Symple Swirl > Symple Rev Swirl drop
I know that seems long, but it didn't seem to last 15 secs. My stamina SUCKS!
Ps Whirl > Spin Osis, might be able to do Ps Whirl > Spin Whirl

Lately I've been working out my upper body and core. I think I need to start a routine during the week where I shred every other day, and the days that I don't kick I work out. Maybe I haven't been a footbag mode because of finals, graduation, finding work, trying to get orders done and other things to boot. I don't know, maybe after this friday it'll chill done some and I can get back into footbag shape! Then I'll just have to find a job and figure out what I'm going to do next year for school. Mama Mia, This has been a tough spring for some odd reason.

I taped a couple of sessions ago, I'll probably make a short vid, and post the 1 or 2 "one-shot" runs that I did. I remember one run I had, but I'm not gonna spoil it. I'm gonna go get warmed up again and try hitting flip Ps Whirl again.

Chow!

Ok, I just finished my 2nd session.

It felt better than the first 10 fold!

I didn't really get any good looks at flip Ps Whirl, but either than that it was great!

Highlight's;
Swirl bsos
Rev Swirl bsos
Footed Flip Twirl again, damnit I want to sauce this!
Footed Ducking Swirl, 1st try, 2nd try, then lost it, lol
Infinity Swirl bsos
Swirling Mirage > Ss Butter Swirl > run, kool rewind!
Took my chances at What!?! again, kept over shooting it. 3 tries later, NAILED IT! What?!? > Run with Swifter and dropped on Riptide
Every time I tried for Riptide, I footed it, damn I love this trick!
Didn't hit a single Blurry Osis, I hate this bail :evil:
GYBAS to replace Blurry Osis :twisted:
Footed Flip Swifter, damn was I close!
Zulu Clip > Osis > Ripwalk > Zulu Clip > Duck Clip b2b2b2b > Dive Clip

Boy did it feel great to hit What!?! I've footed it before, and I might've hit it a lil the before. But I watched this one go right under the Rev Swirl and land on my toe! I also like that my swirls are getting really solid! I don't much care for the set, but I love that my downtime swirls are getting great!

If you want to go see a good movie, go see Iron Man. It's a great movie!

Until next time....

Chow!

Nice Josh! I think everybody should post video highlights. It really makes them more real and vivid. I liked the bsos torque run.

One minor request: with the bsos runs, I'd like to see you mix it up a bit more. Like, do a pdx illusion, then later do torque bsos, then at the end do the other pdx illusion. I think the mixup would look good, so it's not as obvious what's coming next in the string. Just a thought.

Congrats on your graduation. What comes next?
