Will Griggs Myachi Jam 4 (2008)

Post by zach4th »

I'm sure some of you have seen myachi before. If you haven't its like hand footbag and you even use footbag tricks. If you are a footbag purist you would posibly not like this game. I just thought it was funny this guy had such a simmular name to our own beloved Will Digges.

my friends and I called it handy sack back in high school. But I like that name better. If he's considered good I may actually be able to enter into a myachi tourney and do better than footbag. I do this torque-like thing with my hands and it'd blow their minds. Osis with the hands looks good either way.

I like all technical skills. Unfortunately, this is not *really* one of them. If they find it fun, props to them. I just can't help but laugh on the legover/mirage type tricks.

Myachi may be fun, but it makes you look totally fucking retarded. OMG! Is that what outsiders think of footbag?

hahaha he looks like such a spaz when he's windmilling his hands like that and it just made it better that he was saying you will hit the coolest combos ever.

myachi players are spazes and we're dancing hippies in short shorts. I personally think really good yo-yo'ers look ridiculous when they're doing their thing. But that's a whole other topic for a couple thread groups down.

:P our will is better.

At least footbag is not a marketed product; and also I feel like the myachi social network hasn't yet come to grips with the fact that the rest of the world thinks that what they're doing is really lame in the same way that footbag has. What I meant by that, before I get mad flamed, is that I really like the feeling of humility I get from most of the best players on modified. Those myachi boards are chalk full of arrogance.
But back to the marketed product thing, I was on the myachi forum yesterday (man the things I do to avoid paper writing!), and the fact that all the admins are just the rep team who are trying to sell those hand sacks kinda weirded me out. For instance, there were threads discussing how best to go about selling myachi (after, of course you had bought a bulk quantity), which struck me as a little sinister.
But I have no doubt that to a casual observer, we don't look much better, which makes me feel a little queasy inside, because those dudes are big nerds.

a only 1 thing about myachi, one the best player and also one of the guys who invented it is an old net player from Montreal. (the guy with 3 spikes on the head)

He's friend with Yves Archambeault (which is an ass hole IMO), so if youwant to be friend with him, you must be an OPEN net player ...

I met the guy, actually, and all of us got free handbags as far as I remember... I think they were free? Scary! Myachi mind-tricks...

But I digress. The haters here have obviously never tried. It's actually quite fun to do with a few people, especially when all of us suck. Especially if there's alcohol involved.

But I digress. We all look like retards playing footbag anyway. Well, not really, I'm nice, the rest of you guys are all ugly garbage.

But I digress, we all look like ugly garbage to the public. Without ANY digression, I say we work harder to make this a prettier sport.

crap. . they're starting to put footbag in their tags for youtube. . . arg. Now whenever I want to look at THE LATEST FOOTBAG VIDEOS (without coming to modified) I get slapped in the face by another sweet jam session with a myachi player.

I foresee a showdown between footbag and myachi forums in exactly four days. Let the countdown begin. . .

Nice myachi video.

It's fun to see different ideas with similar objects. I also met the guy Nicholas spoke of, cool guy and also gave me a free myachi!
