I had a dream last night where I was walking around half naked on a fancy egyptian rug and accidentally had a poop. Luckily, I was able to heel stall the poop and mostly prevent it from soiling the rug.
In other news, today I was making a snowman and apparently the berries I used for its mouth were actually rabbit turds. Go figure. I put a little stick (I hope it was a stick) in it's head like a feather in his cap. I think right now he is probably slowly melting to death.
EDIT:
6 consecutive 30 contact tiltless runs with 10-15 second breaks between runs.

I have ordered a canon ZR800 minidv to mess around with until I can afford a high def camcorder. I've also downloaded the newer version of premeire because I heard it has frame interpolation for its slow motion.
Somethings I did today:
- ps whirl to start and end a run
- gyro mirage > symp mirage > symple swirl bs
- 3 consecutive 15 contact guiltless runs (with hand catches)

I had fun in montreal! Here are some pictures from my trip:
Place des Arts

I like fountains.

Sebastien has a 20-30 contact run everytime he touches the bag!

It started raining so we had to play under the overhang of a building. I think a vasek video was made in this location by Tuuka. Flail.

Looks like James is doing a butterfly.
Old Montreal
Mathieu and I shredded at a street corner and practised playing to the beat for busking/routines.

Double decker bus!

My mom doing a toe stall in her puma suedes.

A very green park near Old Montreal. A lady street performer did some gymnastics stuff on the island in the middle of the pond.

Hand stall

Elbow Stall

Hat stall (sick3)

sole stall

Random street backgammon
Tam Tam
Drum drum drum drum

Soooooo many people.

osis or something. After Tam Tam we went out for poutine with Matthieu, Francoise, and... Tirene?
Random

I found a piano at the fairmont on one of the conference levels.

A big cathedral full of candles

Airport shred with Julien, a fellow from jasper who had bought some footfighters from Kolo the day before. We had to dry ourselves off with napkins from second cup before getting on the flight.
Thanks to Mathieu, Ianek, Seb, James, and others for shredding with me in montreal and showing me around. I'm going to try and improve mon francais for the next time I fly out
Bonne nuite!

Rory, I love reading your blog.
It was a pleasure seeing you at Worlds, and I wish I was at Montreal having a sweet time kicking with you in a circle. Hopefully we can share that very experience in the near future, in some hack tournament in the USA and/or Canada.

I went swimming with two girls tonight. Both of them were lifeguards at some point. The premise of the evening was sort of a lesson to help improve my technique. Unfortunately, I had not swam in quite some time so I was reduced to showing off my flailing windmill stroke. We worked on breathing, kicking, and bent arm pushing? for the freestyle method. 1 2 3 breath 1 2 3 breath > rpt. Then we had a contest to see how long we could hold our breath underwater. Little did they know I actually have gills under my arm pits. We ended up tieing anyways! After that we went down the water-slide and made splashes. In the deep end we practised treading water and the girls were playing patty cake while I was practically drowning. The key they explained, was to do the "eggbeater"! The eggbeater I says!? I can do the eggbeater! Unfortunately, by that time my legs were no longer responding, so I was unable to try out the maneuver. We rounded off the evening with a hot tub.
As we were leaving the YMCA I pulled out my footbag to impress them by hitting the eggbeater, which coincidentally is the same motion as the treading water technique. I ended up not impressing them by dropping the trick 7 times in a row.
What's the moral of this story?

PRACTISE EGGBEATING!
