Ok, I need to know the rough population of all the deer species in the world. Not one population for each on, but one population that represents them all.

If anyone can figure this out, that'd be phenomanally helpfull to me.

Seriously, I don't know how you expect anybody to know the answer to this, apart from doing their own research on the internet and figuring it out for you. Can't you just do that yourself? Do you really think people might know that figure off the top of their head or have it in a book?

I was actually banking on someone here being a hunter. And my typos and minor spelling defects have nothing to do with the fact that I'm not in college right now.

If I wasn't lucky enough to find someone with a flat answer, I was also hoping for someone to know of a reliable site. Anyone can just use google and come up with a site that has outdated information.

Not to sound like I'm defending Switch or anything, but if I were having trouble with an internet search and I couldn't go to my local college/university librarian (suggestion), I would probably ask people on modified. Chances are, someone might be way better at internet searches than I am. Maybe someone knows a specific site or can figure out better keywords than the ones I tried using, for example.

As is, somebody asked an off the wall question and got pissed when people couldn't figure it out and weren't provided with enough information to make helpful suggestions.

How much time is someone supposed to spend trying to answer a question like this ? I'd rather point out that the request if fatally flawed and his failure is a direct consequence of not providing enough context to the request.
