Bob was cool for sure.

I am very motivated to practice after yesterday's session.

Although I probably won't make it next weekend cause I'm getting a half sleeve tattoo.

what the fuck is up all you sick mutha fuckas?

i was just out driving just for fun and and i saw an exit off the highway for woburn and suddenly remembered i had my gunnits in the trunk and a bag in the glove, so i whipped off the highway into a sunny parking lot, blasted music out the windows, and had my first "legit" session since december!!! 8O 8O

i still couldnt hit almost anything on my strong side clipper because it still feels really weak, but i managed:

symple ss legover>illusion>toe drifter>drop on dlo
toe drifter>blur :!: :!: :!:
atomsmasher b2b2
lots of repeats of legover>mirage
flip smear>flip dimwalk>pdx mirage>symp mirage
footed flip pdx blender 8O
flip ps whirl 8O

shred tomorrow im expecting to see: doug, fran, chris, and myself. be there.

That's great you're coming back Pete, but I would really take it easy. Lay off the whirls and symp stuff for a while. Maybe just stick with tiltless and easier stuff for a few sessions?

That would blow chunks if you hurt yourself again, plus I wanna play with you at grass (you're coming, right?)

yeah, i know the 5's were probably a mistake :P but i have had like 10 or so real laid back barefoot toe tiltless sessions so im pretty well aware of my limitations. but yeah i will definitely be at grass, and unless something unbelievably bad happens, i should at least be able to play maybe at a slightly higher level than im at now.

bsc session in 50 minutes

chris, fran, and kevin, if you are coming to Grass (less than two weeks away) and want to split a hotel room with me, let me know asap. im going to call call in my reservation tonight and i want to know if i should get a single or a double. and honestly i dont want more than 3 people in the room including myself.
there is almost definitely free crash space available, but if you are interested in that you should definitely post in the GRASS thread in "journeys to tournies" and let someone know.

Pete, I'm still unsure about that weekend. Go ahead and book with whoever you need to. If I go, I might end up looking for some crappy motel or seeing if there are any rooms left at the blocked off one.[/code]

Hell yea Kevin! Keep working on consecutive clippers both sides and you'll see your game start to progress very fast, it will just make things flow. Oh, and also work on all the basic tiltless, mirage, legover, pickup, atw both ways, etc.

Sorry I didnt get to have another session with everyone before leaving. I look forward to the fall though. I hope to see some big improvement in everyone's game, including my own!

Peace

word.

gotta say guys, my knee is feelin pretty good. i think if i can go another two weeks without tweaking it (that means no: footbag, basketball, moshing, fighting, jumping off tall structures, etc (all ways i've reinjured myself...)) i should be out of the woods. that would be a nice place to be.

kev-sorry we didnt get you a tournament shirt from grass, my health insurance check (as in, dough i had to pay) unexpectedly suddenly cleared and i wouldnt have had money for gas if i had even bought MYSELF a shirt :x
if you want you can have one of the my two NYFA jam shirts, although no offense to nyfa but clearly the GRASS shirt was superior :P

hows shred chris and kevin??

Yo no worries on the shirt guys. Just wanted to get some footy gear.

But I have been making some nice progress. Ever since that day at NU when I magically started stringing, I've been doing legovers, ATWs, and butterflies like there's no tomorrow.

Found a nice park in the north end to practice in, and it has four square lines built in!

Outside shred this weekend?
