okay so i looked about 15 or so pages into this catagoy and didnt see a topic that this could go in so i just made this one haha
i am just wondering if it would be worth it to drain the already leaking sand and replace it with shot
it would be done in the way that the flying clipper website recommends to refill with sand, by usinag a leather awl or tool of the sort to get in between the stitches and then fill and to close it up just knead it with your fingers till the stitching evens out
i am already planning on ordering a better bag anyways so this is purely out of curiosity's sake

Memories . . . That looks exactly like the dirtbag sitting in my display. It was my third bag and I "won" it at my first jam.
Anyways, if you wanna refill it to use untill you get a new bag, I would say go ahead. But do order a new bag. What are you planning on getting? I'd recommend a Mr. Sandbag, but I'm not sure what level you play at.
i recall those being pretty light footbags, I wouldn't waste too much time getting the current fill out of it. just cram a bunch of lead in that bleed hole (and you can quote me on that) and you'll be good to go for a while. I definitely recommend purchasing a mr sandman or a pro stitched bag as well.

is there a specific size bb that would work well? how about shot size i read that 7 works? is that right haha
thanks for the help and i am leaning towards buying a stitched bag from this forum but still deciding on the stitcher haha they all look so wonderous to my inexperienced eyes
ps. i am not sure if this bag has bleedholes but considering my limited experience it probably does and i just dont know how to recognize them
It's a dirtbag filled with sand. I don't think the area between the white panels have any bleedholes, since they might be closed up within the stitching process. I suggest using a cone shaped tip, like a plastic Bic pencil, to widen the stitches between the orange and white panels.
Anyway, you can always use super/krazy glue to seal it tight if there are any mess ups.
