crusty session

Post by mc »

just a little more weirdness while I get my body going again for the game. I know it lacks strings. I am REALLY weak lately, but it's getting back into play season for me, and I've been backing off the scotch lately.

edit : nevermind ;)

Nice man. the furious to hat stall was nasty. Have you ever tried setting a duck out of a hat stall?

I understand feeling weak. i just had a session the other day for the first time since december. i had only played once in december, and before that was back in september or something. i managed one 15+ contact of 3s haha. Stoked to chill with ya at GRASS though.

Even better than the last one, the tricks looked more solid.

Alright! Good to see some footage of you again. Love your super cranky (not as in grumpy) style. Funny to see a bunch of hat stalls today! I had done one, once before today; but, much to my little sister's amusement, I did a bunch earlier this afternoon. Fancy that! Anyway, props. I liked the vid.

Thanks for the comments, guys. it's so gratifying to get them right off the bat.

Josiah, glad to know I won't be the only out of shape player at this jam. ;) I'm psyched to see you, buddy!

Zac, Thanks man. but just so you know, there was NOTHING solid about this session. i couldn't do ANY sort of stringing whatsoever... couldn't even finish rubberman. I really need to start eating again. Glad I can still rip out some weirdness once in a while.

Ben, glad you liked the video!! That is definitely interesting that we both did lots of hat stalls today. PS that is the last bag I bought from you that I am using in that session. :D

Yeah, but the delays and such looked more solid. I dunno. I liked it. :P

It didn't look bad. It didn't look that good, but that doesn't really matter. Easier tricks? Maybe schooling tiltless will get you back in gear better. I don't really know though. Just keep at it is alls I can say. The hat stalls were pretty cool though. Has anyone else ever done anything like that before?

P.S., this is kind of weird, but your avatar seems to have replaced the "embarrassed" emoticon on my computer. I think it's probably just my computer, but for some reason, instead of a bunch of little smileys to the left of the text box I'm typing in, there's a bunch of little smileys all circling around Matt Cross's head. So I'm kind of wondering why this is happening, and why it's the 'embarrassed' one rather than a different one. I don't know. I'll consult the oracle.

Well that was somewhat of a pointless post :? Feel free to ignore the bottom half. Hahaha.

Neat Matt. For real, that was fun. I particularily enjoyed thehat stall coming out of the duck!

Also, am I silly for wondering what "the question on everyone's mind" is?

so, from the dragon blurriest i think its safe to assume you have a fast double down? if so..... try a furious set>hat stall>double down. like a hat stalling nemesis. that would make my day. i think you ould do it, especially since the hat stall gives you time to prepare for the double down after the set. i absolutely love your originality, i cant wait to play with you again either!

I thought everything in the video was awesome, except for the hat stalls. Those just look ugly to me, but awesome dragon stuff. The dragon set blurriest was sick. Thanks for making that dragon tutorial video, it helped me conceptualize the trick better. I think your style is cool to, hope to see more videos soon.
