Where to purchase a decent bag?
Where to purchase a decent bag?
Hello, I'm quite new to footbag and have been looking to get into freestyle but my garbage synthetic leather hacky sack is way to stiff and bouces like rubber. Stalls are impossible. So ive been looking for a better bag, something of decent quality and stall-able. Unfortunatly i'm not able to order a bag over the internet (there cheapest on the internet).
What i really wanted to ask is if you know where to buy a bag in person or if you know a cheap way of obtaining a decent bag (not over the internet). Im kinda low on cash so i can only really spend like
$10-$15.
I live in Winnipeg, MB, Canada
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
-Grimz

ERIK CHAN!
He lives in Winnipeg, and so do two players. He is a stitcher. However, he makes really good 32 panels which are a bit above your price range, but he might be able to make you a 4 panel for cheap.

There is his blog which you can post in, or you can click the "Private Message" link at the top of the page, and type in "erik chan" and send him a sort of email, dubbed "PM".
Hope he can help you out,
-Jay

Mr.Sandman's are 5$ comes like like 6 something with Tax, they are very good beginner bags, and the second place in the world (Jim Penske) works there, so you know those bags are worth it
Crap, I didnt notice you cant buy over the internet, sorry!, yeah ask Erik, I think he would hook you up.

everyone else gets them from freedoms or someone else via online.
Maybe you can find someone to buy a mr. for you, and you can send them the money in a money order or something. Yet again I would ask Erik, since he is also in Canada, maybe he can help you.

No a good 4 panel like a Mr. or a 12-14 panel is good for a beginner expecially when learning stalls
32s are better for when you get the "Hang" of things in freestyle footbag.
I get mine from the internet rarely, but i get most of mine from when i go to tournaments and buy them off of other stitchers that attend.

Just come out to a jam some time and I'll get you something. You've gotta learn how awesome and nice footbag people are. Let me know when a good night to shred would be. I only work every second day, so I could be down for a session, and maybe the other guys too.
Or maybe an after school jam somewhere since we are both in the north end. We'll figure something out!
