Eco Sneaks?

Today I was flipping through a magazine and came across an ad for a product called Eco Sneaks from the company simple shoes. Basically the shoes are made out of recycled material and are environmentally friendly. They look like they wouldn't be bad for playing but I would like to get a more educated opinion.
Heres the link: Go ahead and browse the site, a lot of the shoes are very interesting and pretty sweet. And if they're not as great for playing, hey at least you get to see some pretty sweet shoes.

Simples have always been really prime hacky shoes, in my opinion. at least their standard model was.

I'm sure you could rip out some sweet tricks in these, but i doubt they'll be as good as lavers.

Hacky sack shoes, not so great for freestyle though\

EDIT: the reason its not so great for freestyle would be that the material looks a bit thick, and it would be a pain to mod it, even if its possible. and for 55 bucks its quite a bit of cash. I'd get lavers.

I agree with the people who posted above me, would probably be a better shoe just for kicking.

But does anyone have a pair? I want to know if they are comfortable because i may need some new shoes soon.

my last 2 pairs of simples were very comfortable and durable shoes. I think you'd probably find the same.

If I can find a pair of these at around $30-40 USD, I would definitely buy it. I need better walking/hacky shoes.

Yeah I really like the shoes, simply because they're pretty sweet, but I still need to get a decent pair of lavers.

Those are sick! I used to have a pair of Simple shoes and they were super comfy and they held up for a long time. Now as an environmental statement! Sweet. I just bought a black pair.

edit: but now I changed my mind and want a natural colourd pair so that I can paint them red. ...or the cub/olive colour (no paint). Black'd still be alright if I can't change it in time though
