Yeah, I trekked all the way out to Danforth and Woodbine to hit up X-village, only to realize they moved to College and Shaw - 2 minutes from my house! Very unprofessional that they didn't update their website with the new address. But I went to the new location and the guy was nice and cool. That goes a long way in my book. I don't like the way I'm treated at Hogtown either. Ok. We get it. Longboards are for posers. Be nice to us or stop selling them.

Sorry for bailing on you Cassy.

Thursday is still on. How about 4pm at Dundas Square?

Queen St. East, south side. It should be below a comic book shop. It was last summer, anyway.

Call them:

http://yellowpages.ca/bus/Ontario/Toron ... 47175.html

I think their longboard compeletes were kinda pricey, but that was probably just standard pricing. Helmets and stuff might be less. It is a really small shop, they surely pay a lot less rent than Hogtown, so it's probably more affordable.

Hope that helps.

Hey all,
I just wanted to say thanks much to camille and mike (and anyone else who helped to get the whole TO Jam thing rolling) for setting up a Jam, and on the only week I'm gonna end up being in the city! I've never had the chance to get out to a comp/jam, and am really looking forward to it.
So, cause of that, I've started training, so's I don't embarrass myself if I do decide to compete, and I also picked up a pair of G6s which are AMAZING. They are a little heavier, and my downtime double dexes are suffering a little, but my consistency has skyrocketed!

A few highlights:
infinityX65
Ripwalk and schmoe bsos in one run
osis b2b X25
Ducking legover and diving legover bsos in one run
pdx whirl X4
pdx drifter>butter [rpt]
consistent 15 contacts plus guiltless with less than three BOPs in a row
ducking clipper X20
Voodoo five times in a row, to handcatch

Anyway, I am very much looking forward to seeing all of your awesome selves. Keep it real.

Can't make it today, but I will be skooking by myself at that time here. :P

So, Saturday--- Beach?! Pretty pretty please??? I want to play there so bad it hurts.

edit: Fuck fuck FUCK! It's supposed to rain Saturday. If it clears up, I'm a go.

edit v2.0: Sam-- you're very welcome-- and good stuff!! I'm happy you can make it, I was quite sad to learn that you won't be home this summer. So this is rad.

I'm up for playing at the beach. Though, as we discussed, it may be raining, and it may be cold. If it's nice out in the morning, let's do it! If not, Ryerson shred? We need to practice so we don't suck too bad at our own Jam!p0--------------

Haha Mike - the ole, "My cat did it" to cover for your lack of English proficiency? I get it...

Saturday for me is a no go, I have to go work for my dad and work off my new longboard and go to a fish store an hour away from my house to buy really good fish.

EDIT: TTC on strike...

Yeah, strike = I can't shred anywhere far from here.

Next week I guess. We're thinking the strike won't last long past Monday.

Oh it won't last long, but since its on the weekend less people are going to bitch. Come Monday, if the strike is still on, all hell will break loose. Tuesday it will be aiight. But, most likely it will be down for all of today and tomorrow.

I played today for 30 mins with a friend, she hit toe stall :p. Hit spinning duck whirl 3rd try (new trick I think) and hit Spinning Ducking Paradox Blender (Gangsta Party) first try (new trick too and first seven I think). Then I packed my bag and went home :p

That's the way to do it. Hit 'em hard and fast, then get the hell out of there.

Props on the new moves! Can you hit spin duck blender?

Well, FAT should mostly be there. I dunno, maybe I'll show up around noon. If the weather is good I'll be there all day getting sick from sun exposure.
