What a session! I only played for like an hour and a half and at parts there were some really dark times but boy was it a successful day!

Highlights:
 20 clippers like 5th try out the box
 20+ tiltless string maybe 5 tries later
 8 contact guiltless string, drop on the 9th (butter>pdx mir>rpt to symp mir bs to butter>pdx mir>tap attempt drop)
 butter>Torque>5 or so more BOPS
 Butter>whirl>string

I think that's it for string highlights, but now here are the move highlights:
 tap? whatever atomic mirage is, or rather TOE SET>OP OUT DEX>put foot down>SAME IN DEX>OP TOE CATCH both sides! First day I've tried them too
 tap>flip legbeater>string
 sidewalk? stepping same butter first time I've landed that
 stepping near and far legover
 symple near mir. bs

Lowlights:
 I've been sick and I think there's stuff in my lungs because I was having major trouble breathing for parts of the session. Headache, couldn't breathe, felt like dying, the usual
 I almost didn't play today. That would have been the biggest Lowlight of them all.

oh yeah hey the footbag I got was #36. Kind of like with an inversing color pattern that comes out as being like an eruption (that's how I see it anyway). Brown and white panels.

I really like it. It's pretty similar to an MC bag. My waylon bag is a little bit stallier right now for some strange reason. Haven't figured that out yet. But not to worry, man, it'll be choice come the summer time! I'm playing with both equally.

Maybe we could trade some bags when I get into summer gear 8).

peace. SHRED THE FOOTBAG

well with every great session there comes a shitty one, right? This one was it. It took me a full half hour to kludge together a 25 contact clipper run and a 26 contact tiltless run. I stopped early because my legs were really tired. I think I'm actually judging myself too harshly and I only really stopped because my legs are really sore from skateboarding and footbag once or twice daily for the last two weeks.

Highlights?
 like i said, 25 contact clipper and tiltless runs
 illusions are coming along i think
 I was thiiiiiis close to sealing tap bsos about 7 times but my left leg is getting all wimpy from being slammed on so much, so i had to give up on them.
 like a 6 contact BOP run

Not a horrible day, but I just wanted it to go as well as tuesday because it was such a great feeling that I had control of the bag and could do with it what I wanted, or at least that it was going that direction. oh well, here's to playing on saturday.

Well I had another great session today. I love how I have extremely off days and extremely on days. Actually i only love the on part but that's ok. So I played with Wes for about 2 hours and I had some awesome beginnings and good parts the rest of the session

Highliiiiiights!:
 24 clippers first try out of the box!
 22 contact tiltless first try out of the box!
 tap bsos! finally
 symple legover>rpt>far symple lo>rpt
 butter>whirl>torque
 butter>osis>toe bsos>pdx mir bsos>butter>pdx mir drop
 butter>swirl to hand
 5 butterflies same string, not well linked, 3 strong, 2 weak

basically just a really good session

dang Ian those are pretty solid. I especially like Whirl to a torque. For me it was a bit of a milestone - meant I must have deadly accurate sets after torque. So after I got it I was pretty pleased with myself

CHALLENGE! : do more ducks/dives.

are you done for the year like your wayward rochester counterpart The Tank?

Played with Doug today, it wasn't amazing but it wasn't horrible either.

I reworked a lot of clipper drills like trying to do them with only the magic hop and things like that.

Other than that, just a session where Doug and I bounced ideas off each other and challenged each other for about 2 hours. No record breaking strings but nothing horrible. Just a good session in all.

the last two weeks in footbag for me have been quite historic. I'll have to go about it kinda oddly, because i can't remember it all very well.

Highlights!!!:
 T.O.Jam. That's how it started. It was a fantastic experience sleeping near Suderman, Grant and Moir like it wasn't a big deal. These guys who are gods with a footbag just chilling out. It was an amazing experience. Except for being hungry pretty much constantly because I was trying to save money haha. I got a Suderman bag, too, which was great.
 pretty much everyday after that I've played about an hour or more. sessions have included Solos, just a shred with Doug, Shred with the RFA and Shred with Pat and Ben. They have all been great times. However the main topic of this post has been the progress I've made today, all because I played so much the last two weeks.
 So I played a two and a half hour session today. It was a historic one. I actually met a footbag goal of mine.
I HIT 50 TILTLESS CONTACTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah boi, I promised myself I would before june 1, and lo and behold I did. Now I have to try for 30 BOPS before July 1. I think it's possible.
other highlights of the sessions lately include:
 My first two five adds, alpine fairybeater and phasing osis
 50 TILTLESS!!!! hahaha wooooo!
 ss butter>osis>rpt. Matt Cross challenged me to hit that like a year ago, which was ridiculous then, but now, I did it!
 Whirl Bsos which I've gotten close to before but finally got today.
 about 12 contacts of BOPS so far so I think I have a chance at the 30 in a month.

In more depressing news, I'm trying to get a job round here for the summer, but dangit, I can't seem to find one. I had an interview today. A SECOND Interview, you know, the kind where they basically just tell you how much they'd like you to come to them and how much you wanted to be paid and all that? Well that didn't happen. They just said they might get back to me in about 3 weeks about time I could work in the fall. No help to me. Absolutely no help. Whatever. That just means I have more time to play footbag, no matter how effing poor i am.

Yeah man, that phasing ss osis is $$. Now hit symple swirl bsos. :P

Seriously though, congrats on the 50 tiltless, I know how frustrating thats been for you, so HURRAH!

Sorry about the job man. If things work out with ziebart or this warehouse thing I'll see if they need any more peeps to do stuffs.

Peace

good session yesterday with doug in the village. Both of us were off our game, but I had a few good highlights.

 as per the plan, a 30 contact tiltless string before I started working BOPS
 about a 14 contact BOP string, although two of those contacts were tiltless, but that was the most BOPs I've worked into a string before.
 11 contacts of butter>pdx mir>rpt.

I can't remember all that doug was hitting but I was impressed by a lot of his strings. Great variety, both sidedness and form. I'll catch up to that soon enough. I promise

so doug came over today and we had a good good time kicking the footysack around. Other than that, the day has really just depressed me so excuse my lack of enthusiasm in the post, but!:
Highlights:
 got my 30 tiltless in early in the session
 new record for butter>pdx mir.>rpt: 18! I'm pretty proud of that. maybe 30 BOPS will come easier than I thought
 new record for infinities: 8. a good number to go from. I tried forever to go for 10 but that just didn't work out.
 it seems like my phasing set is actually alright, although i need to learn what I can do with it, because I guess the osis was kind of a one time thing so far.

That's about it. I could only play for like 2 hours because I was getting really weird ankle pains, but I think it'll be ok. Unless my freaky foot has decided to give up the ghost, and then who knows what's in my future. God I need to just sleep. generally just a crappy day haha. pfeiffer out

Played with doug today. It was 95 and muggy and we decided it would be fun to play outside. But it actually was, so THERE! We found an outlet next to the canal and plugged in the cd player and listened to a few cd's while we had some good foot times.
Highlights:
 10 or so contacts butter>pdx mir.>rpt
 butter>ss Butter is getting easier
 landed all the components of ss butter(from toe)>osis>pdx mir>rpt in one string, but still can't get them all to string together when I start on strong butter, because my weak osis is still really bad.

so yesterday there was a session with the RFA. I was doing OK, but not spectacular. I finally got my over thirty tiltless string, and that was a good time, because it was quite high. i think it was actually closer to forty, but can't recall.

Highlights:
 finally got ss toe set butter>osis>pdx mir>rpt. that felt really good because I'd gotten all the components in a string, but not so well lined up.
 landed my first six add! surfing osis. That was a good time. Now all i need to do is learn how to blender and I can do Big Papa Smurf haha. Yeah right for now, but it's a goal.
 started trying and landing a few more drifters in strings.

Aside from that, I think that not too much important went on. It was a good session overall though. Always is with the RFA

just had a nice hour and a half or so session. it was actually a pretty good one, I'll admit. although now I think of a bunch of things that I should have worked on. oh well.

Higherlights than the last post:
 got a few over 25 tiltless strings that had some real variety beginning to develop, and my over thirty was pretty good, if a little boring on trick selection
 20 contacts of butter>pdx mir rpt. That really thrilled me
 both sides of ss toe butter>osis>pdx mir again
 8 infinities, not bad but not great
 worked on osii, filmed myself a little bit doing them just because i know they're sketchy looking
 my first three or four blenders! that was fun. couldn't do it flip yet though.

that's about it. Pfeiffer out.

yeah so i had a streaming session today. It was actually really fun because a guy exudedex came on and watched for a while and gave me a lot of fun drills. same with Shredzilla. Props to you both if you're ever reading this.

Highlights:
16 or so contacts of butter>pdx mir>rpt
6 to 8 contacts of butter>ss butter>rpt
a lot of runs that started shading into guiltless and more smooth BOPS
along with a few midstring ducking clippers. I worked on those today and they were coming along, slowly but they're coming.

lowlights:
as soon as i stopped playing for the day, my whole left leg just seized up and whatever muscle that holds the spring of your step and holds your ankle off the ground when you play had completely failed me. It only lasted for a little while but I was really worried for a while. here's hoping that never happens again. the end

it happened again. the pain in my leg. I have to take a break for a few days or else I think it will only get worse, because the pain was around for longer today. Had a crappy session at the canal today. nothing really at all notable. just some general fun times I suppose. Played with Doug, but couldn't for long because he got there late and I had to leave early and all that blah. Oh well. good day in general, really bad day for my footbag haha.
