The Raptors got eliminated tonight!
Fucking ME-J Ford!!
I think the Raptors have several things worth keeping and also lots of dead weight to drop.
Are they the first team to be eliminated from the playoffs?
They were really close and led the last two games that they lost, bleh, I wasn't even excited about it because it was clear we have so many problems to fix and that we were not going to be winning any championships.
I hope you guys have fun rooting for teams that don't suck!
Hmm.. now I need a team to latch onto to make the rest of the playoffs more fun.

Keen observation on the beastliness of Joe Johnson.
I don't know if Marvin had 20, I hope so, I like it when he has big games.
Whenever he has a slow night it just pains me that we took him over Chris Paul and Deron Williams in the draft.
Yeah, it was surprising to see a sweep in the West but not in the East. It's slowly looking to me like the Lakers might take the Celtics in the championship.

I didn't get to watch the Mavs game, but just the fact that the Mavs have been bounced in the first round in 2 consecutive seasons means somebody's gonna have to pay. I'm guessing Avery gets fired, and don't be surprised if Josh Howard also gets traded. You have to look at the Kidd trade as a failure.
Watching my Suns fight for another game now.

Yea, I really want to see NO beat San Antonio, and not only 'cause Phoenix lost to them. I just want a new young team to ruffle things up in the West and surprise everyone. This should definitely be a very, very interesting matchup regardless and I dunno if SA is as worried as they should be about this beast of a team coming towards them.

I think you and I have similar basketball tastes Ken. The Suns have been my team to root for that actually have a shot at the title for the past few years. Now I'd also like to to see the Hornets beat down the Spurs because they beat the Suns but also because I like the Cinderella story to it.

So, given the unfortunate end to the Hawks season, you guys should come and console me:

Man the Cav's aren't a good team. Lebron will probably never get a ring in my opinion. He blew a lot of layups tonight, simply by not looking up at the basket early enough.
I'm mad that the Cav's lost because it makes my earlier prediction less likely, but I'm happy because this game gives more backing whenever I argue Kobe > Lebron now and forever.

home teams are 11-0 this round!?!! that must be a record. Boy would it be great if all games went to 7. I would love to see a magic/hornets finals. But that is pretty unlikely. Actualy I'm rooting for every team except for the spurs... and maybe the pistons, they both just seem like the 45 year olds in a hip nightclub.
And cp3 with like 4 turnovers and 1000 assits??? he is unreal! and basically unheard of until this season. I love new superstars, especialy when they aren't thugs... thugs is probably the wrong word but you know what i mean.
i'm glad some people on espn aren't buying this new kobe image. He's the same dude who was crying about how he wanted out. its funny how winning turns a diva into a "good teammate" overnight. I love the look he gave Luke walton after the bobbled jump ball. Same old Kobe.
MAGIC HORNETS, (rubs rabbit's foot)

lol what look he gave Luke Walton? He straight screamed at him so loud I'm surprised no one's mic picked it up.
Doesn't really change the fact that Kobe's skill set has never been equalled in the NBA. I'm not neccesarilly saying he's the best player of all time, but if he isn't he's close. The guy makes any shot no matter how many hands are in his face, and he's definitely a better shooter than MJ and probably a better passer too. Just as good at driving the ball and probsbly better on defense than Jordan too. I guess I'm saying you have to expect the best player of all time to be something of a diva.
Also, CP3 frequently seems to yell at his teammates and get overly-emotional like Kobe did last night, but I don't hear anyone getting on his back about it.
I dunno why everyone hates the Piston's. Tough, good defense, amazing offensive capacity, tons of great players. I think it's just because they've been in the ECF so many times.
