Here's my first attempt at making a decent shred video. I'll have it downloadable soon enough. I could've done better, but I'm pretty content with it being my first 'quality' video. Comment/suggestions are really appreciated, so I know what to work on/do better next time.

You have improved a shit ton, man. I would be proud.
Your pixies look pretty good, especially for g-units. I liked the DLOs, how about DLO bsos some time?
It looks like you're eliminating tiltless already, I think you're almost there but I would start throwing in some more stepping tricks before you get rid of tiltless.
Try and be more hoppy and energetic when you play. Right now it looks sort of like you're sliding through your moves and stuff.
I liked the video, but I don't think you should be playing in g-units. Your clipper form looks like it's taking a hit. Do you still have lavers?

Yeah, there's something about your clippers that I can't quite put my finger on... I'll watch again & try to comment more intelligently.
Edit: Ok, you're keeping your support leg really straight some of the time, especially at the beginning of the video. Later on in the vid you are bending your legs more. Also, it seems like at times you aren't cranking your ankles very much.
Props on the ducking PS Mirage! Looked great.
Good vid, man! Come shred in Chicago sometime this summer. Please.

im going to say this was mildly money, perhaps mostly money
in seriousness though this was a pretty good video, i think you tried to use too many different effects in one video though, try expanding on one technique instead of just throwing on different filters etc.
your shred is definitely getting better, some cool links, smog looked great.
i think the clipper thing is no reason to stop playing in a pair of shoes you are comfortable with, so i disagree with zac in this regard.
i do however, agree that there is something a little off, i think its simply you are under cranking, allowing the shoes to do a bit more work than they are supposed to. i think if you try to point your toes upwards (literally, towards the sky) that it should fix the problem.

Precisely Mos Eisley
Actually, I switched to g-units because my lavers were hurting my legs. I believe it's because they were too big, but they also didn't have a lot of cushion. I'll probably buy quantum 3s when they come out, since they come in 13s.I liked the video, but I don't think you should be playing in g-units. Your clipper form looks like it's taking a hit. My clipper form isn't that great, but I don't think the g-units did anything to improve it. If they did, they did very little. My clippers used to be pretty good, but for some reason (I think from drilling butterflies) my hips started rotating less, and my support knee started bending less. I just need to drill clippers more and really focus on those two things.
As for the camera effects, it was my first time really screwing around in window's movie maker, so I just kinda wanted to see what I could do. I kind of have an idea of what I'm going to do with my next video, so none of that will be a problem.

Damn us and are big feet!
I had trouble with clippers too, my main strategy was stretching as often as possible, like in class or waiting in line, and work on stopping the hack in a clipper. That is when you know you have a decent clipper stall.
"It's called Footbag"
Way better than last time, which is cool. Seems like you have a solid grasp on stuff, but...
There is still a lot of work to be done. The thing Zac said about sliding through moves is right, you want to improve your posture and hit moves with more strength and posture. You really want to not slouch as much by this I mean standing with your back straight. You really don't lean forward too much or anything, but it seems like you aren't really owning your tricks style wise. That is hard to word.
Your clipper form is fairly off as well. Maybe you don't have a lot of crank but you definitely aren't curling your toes inside of your shoe. You need to make a fist with your toes and cock your ankle more. This is really hard to teach on the internet, so I really hope we meet up at a tournament sometime soon or you meet someone who can help you.
As far as the units go, they are just making it easier to get away with bad clipper form. But if they make playing more fun, go for it.
I read through this and I sound like a dick but I hope you know I am saying this because I didn't see it in the posts above, or at least, not to this extent. You really have improved and should be commended for it, really, take pride in that. I am just giving you the next batch of things. You seem to take advice very easily which is AWESOME and its really sick you listened to everyone online. By playing with better form you can reach higher levels and hopefully have more fun playing.
If you don't agree with my comments take them with a grain of salt. You have a lot of natural talent and will figure it out on your own.

Nice pixies and dlo's.
Don't stop using units. I went back to lavers for a week, to "help my form", and got a stress fracture that put me out for 5 months! It was too much of coininsidence and the thought of using them scares me to death now. Just have fun.

Damn! I asked a long, long time ago whether curling your toes in your shoes was necessary and people said no. So I learned how to do it with without curling. Its like...too late to change now. Do you curl gMoney? (heres the thread: viewtopic.php?t=15120&highlight=)DC wrote: You need to make a fist with your toes and cock your ankle more
