awesome bags andrew.... i like how tulip looks. i was weary when i ordered it from fields, but it looks nicer then i thought it would!

that sandmaster bag is sweet!!! is it golfball sized? your so original louis!

Great job Cale. That is a very nice bag. EDIT: It actually nicer than nice. It is pretty.

I would be interested to know how the extra stitch (vs my own) would affect the break in and longevity of the bag. It sure looks super sharp and clean.

But keep at it, you are obviously doing a great job.

Also, is that really green mist? It seems more tan than green.

it breaks in really quick... but it might have just been the green mist that did that. yeah, it is... i washed it alot, so color faded... and its sitting on my chest, so the color of my skin reflected onto it... but its green mist. and thank you for the kind words =) maybe we could trade sometime.

That's not a bad start. Right now, just worry about how far away from the edge you're stitching (it should be relatively close) and how close together the stitches are. Since you're just starting out, it's ok that you're using microsuede, but as you get better you should start using ultrasuede.

I'm stitching 2-3mm away from the edge is that close enough? And my stitches are about 2 mm apart i know that thats close but microsuede frays so i wanted to make sure it didnt just fall apart.
and ya i'm going to start using ultrasuede i just ordered some i just havent got it yet
