I finished reading the newest SW novel last night. Invincible. I figured I'd post my random thoughts here even though noone will know what I'm talking about. I might look back at it later...

I'm surprised at the lack of deaths. I thought that more of the important characters would die in this one. I'm curious about whether Zekk actually made it or not. It seems the stage is set for the Fel imperial line to take over. I didn't expect Dalaa to come away leading the GA!

What ever happened to those Sith on Korriban? For some reason I thought they would show up? Did I miss something?

Thanks for the kind words Asmus. I'm thinking about putting that post into a new thread and asking others to write why they play. Ken, do you have time yet?

Short answer: Hell no.

Long answer: I turned in my thesis yesterday, had a job interview today, have another tomorrow, and I just started my new consultant work yesterday. I can't even recall the last time I could play footbag. All I have time for these days is posting insult comic dog videos in your blog.

Have you seen the cartoon clone war videos? I hear they were better than all the new movies.

Ya, I have all those on DVD (two series). They were really good. Love the animation style. It's like samuria jack. There is a full length movie coming in august done in a similar style except it's CG. It's the kick off to the new Clone Wars TV show. Then sometime next year comes the live action TV show. Plus an awesome new video game this fall. I hope all your interviews go well. Maybe I should post that in your blog...

I got a new phone yesterday. The HTC Touch. It's a smart phone. Im writing This on it. So, after I bought it i'm sitting in The mall drinking an orange julius and playing with my new phone, when suddenly This guy runs up, grabs The bag from my feet and takes off running through The mall. I sit there wondering if it would be worth running after him. I decided that since The phone wasn't in The box I'd let him go. I turned to watch him go just as he turned to look back. Then he turned and came back. it was ã friend of mine. PUNK!

I'm moving to Lloyd. It's about an hour away from where I live now and where I work so it'll make live alot easier. Problem is, I've lived in Maidstone my entire life. It's kinda sad to leave. Last night, I was standing on the platform at my hall and looking out in the audience with the people in my congregation and I got teary eyed. I was with them since I was like one. Crazy stuff. I feel like I'm letting them down for moving, but I have to. Gas prices are stupid.

I played for about 45 minutes tonight. Footbag feels foreign to my body. It is a very weird feeling. I was attempting tricks that should be basic and failing miserably. I Got frustrated and sat down. My wife asked What was up and said that I shouldn't try new tricks. I told her these were The old tricks. She suggested I go back to The basics. So I did. Low dex session. I did work flip whirl a bit. Worked on flip clipper quite abit. Even Got Natel to take pictures ofboth my clippers So I could compare them. I do very different things with my arms and when I Worked on emulating my strong side arm position it seemed to help. I tried to remember all The things Dave talked about But my memory is horrible and I live without internet. I want to play more.

Life news:

The cancer scare with my mom was supposed to be over, But they Just found that her liver is Still enlarged and Now her spleen is too. She's going for ã biopsy next week. Hopefully.

Now onto my health problems. My doctor Just told Me that I have high colesteral, uric acid levels and that my liver isn't functioning as it should. He is very concerned to see all This in a man under 20.

It's been a great week. . .

I smashed my couch apart yesterday. It was extremely difficult to get down The stairs into our apartment. That with gravity helping us. I knew we couldn't get it out in one piece. It was fun smashing it with a hammer. I'm not exactly your handy man type of guy. I ended up missing The couch completely once and hitting my knee. It hurt.

Our place looks So empty Now. But It'll Make moving day easier.

Well, I'm all moved into my new place. Moved in, but far from settled. I have mixed feelings about living here. The place we're in is unique. The stair have such a low ceiling that we couldn't get our box spring down them. The bedroom is so small that with our bed in it, we either keep the door open or closed. There is no room for a table in the kitchen so it stays in the living room. The place might seem better once I'm not tripping over boxes every time I turn around. I dunno, I hope it works out. I don't feel like moving again and I love the location.

The place is a block from a Seven 11 (slurpee's and energy drinks!!) and half a block from a good friend's place. It's walking distance for us, even when we have our boxes of plastic for SWM games. That's awesome. Speaking of mini's, I bought a new booster yesterday. I got Mara-Jade which is awesome. I'm gonna try to build something around her soon. The other pulls were mediocre. Another Bothon Noble (cool fig, but my second. Would rather something new), A Kel-Dor BH (awesome fig, but need at least one other for good squad building), a Rebel Honor Guard (boo!) and some others. I also picked up some Ugnaught Demolishionists from the Game Store. They don't have cards, but I can use, 'em anyway. I now have eight of them and can see myslef using them all in squads. I'm hoping to get a mini's game in with Josh sometime over the weekend. Hopefully to do our last tournament game and HOPEFULLY I'll beat him with my nasty Vipers.

Work has been hard for about the last week. One guy I work with is being an ass. Basically, he finally realized that everyone knows I'm a better working than he is (managers and consultants told him) and now any time I say anything he finds something wrong with it. Basically, he's become a nitpicker. Whether it's about how I'm doing something job related, what I sold to a customer, or when a few guys are just talking about video games. I can't say anything without getting some smart-ass remark from him. Yesterday I told one of the managers that if he didn't smarted up I'd be quiting. I don't have to put up with that. There are TONS of jobs in this town, most of them much higher paying than Staples. Problem is, I love working there, and the rest of the people or awesome. I get to be nerdy with them and it's like that's normal. I get discounts and games and computer stuff. I get to see the new technology in the computer world and test it without having to buy it or look like an idiot in futureshop playing with stuff all the time. It's product knowledge. Anyways, I hope things work out, but if not, I'll stick to my word.

You may of noticed that this has been a very long post with no mention of Footbag . . . I haven't played. Money is to tight to allow me to go to ShrEdmonton. I am feeling a shift away from footbag. I don't know . . . I keep thinking that maybe this game just isn't for me. I think I love it, but lately when I go to play it just feels forced.

So I walk into the Technicians office at work yesterday and there's my co-worker watching youTube. I'm like wtf, man? Get to work, but then I notice what's on the screen... That's Eli! And there's Caro. So I say, why are you watching footbag? And he says, these guys are nuts. We watched footbag vids on youtube for the next hour before getting back to work. It made me want to play, but I'm so out of shape. That is all.

Nice to see you on the forums again Tony. How's the job/life/wife? That was pretty random that your coworker was watching footbag vids on YouTube. That'd be amazing if that happened to me.

If you aren't playing footbag these days, did you replace it with any other sports/hobbies? I sometimes catch myself wondering what I will do once I leave footbag. I'm a bit intrigued by bowling actually.

Anyway, good to see you are still around.

In that time I have moved again, this time way out of my comfort zone. I moved to a place called Cold Lake, AB. It's a nice town where I knew absolutely no one when I got here. What caused me to move you ask? Well they opened a Staples here and being as Lloydminster was the closest existing store my managers got called upon to help out with opening day rushes at the new store. I got asked to go up there with my General Manager and Jr. Technology Consultant. I helped out and was fun to see the crowds of ppl excited about a new store in their town. I also got to know a few of the team members in the store and thought they were cool. I was asked to go back for a few days the following week to do some training since the team there was all brand new. While I was there training these guys one of the visiting managers helping out asked me how long I had been a consultant for. I wasn't a consultant. At that point I realized that I was doing the work of a consultant, but was only a sales floor associate. So I figured I should become a consultant. At that point I was offered a consultant position in Cold Lake pending interview and whatnot. I decided what the hell. Talked to my wife and found out she was ready for a change too. Then I started talking to my Managers in Lloyd. My General Manager told me I was qualified for the position, and that he had took his two best workers to Cold Lake for opening day. That meant he thought I was a better worker than my Boss, the Sr Technology Consultant. He offered to create a third consultant position for me if I stayed their because he didn't want to leave me, but I figured at that point that if the only reason he said I was that good was after I was talking about leaving I should probably move on. I got the Sr Technology Consultant position and moved on.

Natel is enjoying it here. She's got a job she loves working in a Foster Home where she is around kids all day. It's cool. Ya Ken, I was really surprised when I saw Brandon (my Jr. Tech Consultant) watching footbag! It was awesome. I haven't replaced footbag with any other sports. I'm not an overly active guy by nature. lol I'm spending alot of time playing on old MMO game called Star Wars Galaxies. Being the huge Star Wars geek I am it's an awesome fit. I've met some great friends in game and am having alot of fun playing. That's taking alot of my time, as well as playing some Wii games, and an online rpg type game called Star Wars Combine. Again, a star wars game. lol I have been biking to Work every day since early May. It's been fun and a terrible workup. I live about a 25 minute bike ride away. My legs still aren't used to it.

Funny you mention Bowling. When i was younger I used to bowl a lot. I was in different leagues right up until I finished High School. Not that long ago. lol Anyways I was pretty decent. I did 5 pin. Even went to some bowling school one summer. My highest single game was 305. Fun times those were.

I wonder if anyone cares I never talk about footbag in here...

I thinking about looking for a new job. I don't get along at all with the GM in this store. He's a dick and I disagree with almost everything he does. He used to be a WalMart manager and his entire attitude reaks of only caring about numbers. I told one of the other managers that I was thinking of quiting and he got really upset. He's unhappy with the GM's attitude also, so we are going to work together to try to make it better for everyone instead of just moving on. Mean while it'll be stressful.

My legs itch.

SWG is fun.

This site doesn't seem nearly as welcoming as it used to. Sadly this is due to one particular poster. Hell for that matter it's due to one on particular person in one particular thread. I don't see this being a place I can hang out and call home. I'm gonna head back over to my SWG Forums and hang out. Over there when some posts they are sad about a death they are not met with apathy and needless, rude comments.

I spend alot of my free time playing Star Wars Galaxies and have been having a ton of fun playing in the last few weeks. I decided I'm gonna use this blog to talk about it until I find another place to record my thoughts.

I just started to get into PVP a few months ago. Before the Battlefields came out I had never had any interest in it. I tried to get comms a few times, but got rolled by spies before I could even react. I figured that was what pvp was so I steered clear. But when the BF's came out with their promises of new armour and a shiny new pistol... I knew I had to do it. The battle fields were funner than I thought they would be. I figured they'd be a grind that I would make myself do to get the rewards. They made it even teams which was great, and they didn't have NPC's like Restuss does, so I wouldn't be in the middle of other fights when the imps showed up. Good times. Plus playing with other rebels has proven to be lots of fun. Don't get me wrong. I died alot. But it was fun, and slowly I started to feel my reaction time increase. I would start to actually see the imps before I was lying on the ground dead. It started to be more fun and more fun. Recently I started to feel like I am a PVPer. It's a nice feeling.

I recently switch to all Pistol Damage Power Ups and I've noticed a huge improvement in my over damage in the BF's. I'm also learning how to properly use Pistol Whip and can ussually take out a lone target by my self. This is great for when one imp sneaks in and is trying to take over the terminal while the rest hold us up.

A few things I am working on:

-using my cloak ability (watch the medics and cloak when needed)
-Finding a blackhand Annihilator with 60m
-finish Mustafar on Windows and go back with Antoin'ette to get shard's.
-get my armour made and 35's put in
