We here in Athens, Georgia have two active players. We consider ourselves a club and hope to grow (my bro got some lavers, we're working oh him) and maybe even be a school sponosred club so we can shred at school once a week. So, the other day we were thinking of t shirt designs and mebbe even revamping our name. i've heard of footbag clubs, leagues, associations, circles, teams (...i think) and alliances. but how about a footbag colony? or a footbag base? mebbe even a the On Point Kings Footbag Club? these are getting kinda nerdy, but we thought they were funny. (and if you want to make fun of me do it inside your head)

I recommend something very simple, something that you know you will be able to associate with for a long time.

Something slangy or cool is definitely fun on the short term, but you might not like it in the future, or it might turn off other players. I think that if a club wants to establish itself for the long term and really represent an area, it should have a name that makes no presuppositions about the members (like that you're "on point kings", etc).

Let a flashy style represent you, not a flashy name.

Props for starting a club and helping to establish a footbag scene in your area. Hope my post wasn't too serious for our first interaction. Just trying to be real

true words mr cross, true words. I think that it is sorta difficult to get people started unless they have that flaming desire that made most of us start and practice for hours and dedicate ourselves to advancing. We have some popel who remain casual kickers but bascially only practice when we are around. THere might be one kid fromt he lacrosse team who has been practicing at home, not sure about him, but i guess it isnt something you can push on people, they have to see for theirselves that it takes dedication.
