Hmm I wonder how many people that read this remember me???
A quick recap for everyone who can't remember or doesn't know me.

I played hacky-sack... Adam Dexter and I decided to start a Hacky-sack club in Brantford. We seen one guy had another club for Brantford on the world footbag site, and decided he would just have to join us because there was two of us and one of him. He came out to our first sesh and melted our brains with footbag! ( I think he was hitting torque and PS whirl back then)Everyone knows him of course...he is the one and only Johnny Suderman. We became his students to learn footbag and quickly began displaying footbag in the city. One thing led to another and Johnny was the only guy in Brantford playin footbag for the longest time. There was six of us in the group, including Jorden Moir from Dundas. Now there is just Johnny and I, though we don't consider ourselves a club anymore.

An extremly long post that you didn't have to read, if you did! Thanks.

Now to everyone that knows exactly who I am, and wants to know whats up and where I'm at.... I'm married now to Tina, my daughter's name is Jessica and she is almost 3 years old. I drive a caravan and not the tricked out sunfire. Yes I still have THAT! Abshire (of legend or horror stories),my stiching is better but never happens anymore.]

A List of What I'm Hitting NOW.... Not a List of What I Have Hit.

-Stepping and Pixie sets
-BSOS clippers and Butterflys
-BSOS legovers, pickups
-mirage
-pdx mirage
-dada curve, osis
-BSOS ripwalk (but not back to back)
-ducking

My footbag life in a nutshell. Now for comments and more blogs from me.

I know what you mean about your brain melting.

Jim Penske was the first great footbagger that I kicked with and my brain is still melting from what I saw (that was over three years ago :) )

unless ryan happend to be at GLASS or in Brantford then you have me mistaken for someone else. I'm a three year begginer and the only vids i have out there are a sick three vid from the first online comp, a brief part in a GLASS vid by Andrew Grant (great vid IMO) and a clip of my doof.

no worries though.

I got off my ass, drove me and Johnny out to Toronto and had a shred with some FAT guys. As far as having a session goes...it was fun, interesting, and inspiring. But as for my shred...well it was nice to see some other people shredding . oh well, I need to just shred more and be more active I've broken my heaviest weight yet, 178 lbs now. My technique is better, but I need my stamina back for some long tiltless runs.

Hit some consecutive butterflies, butterfly>pdx mirage rpt, mirage>legover/pickup rpt. I still can't believe how much trouble i have with ATW's on either side

the other day I had a little shred in the kitchen and refused to stop until I could hit 2 ATW both sides, and I was doing them both out and in. Felt awsome to accomplish this since it's evaded me since I began playing.

I had a session for an hour (longest one in years) I worked on 3 consecutive ATW's, in's and out's, both sides. and worked on clipper>ss pickup/legover both sides, consecutive pixies, consecutive mirages, consecutive clippers ss, and failed to hit an illusion on either side...

I found out how badly I've skipped the basics while attempting to drill toe>knee rpt on both sides. I was surprised how hard it was to do a simple toe set straight up, straight in front of me onto my knee.

Actually didn't play much, but it felt like old times doing a little bit here and there in the lines with Johnny. He was wearing his F.A.T shirt that says ask me about freestyle footbag on the back...not that anyone did, but I caught them reading it. I got some consecutive clippers going while moving up in the line, and tried other tricks while moving forward too. I tried BOP while Johnny got henna done on his calf that was a custom footbag design... and passed the footbag from a sole stall to sole stall by pinching our feet together...it sounds weird but it was fun and challenging.

MWUAHAHAHAHA  I'm blogging...wait till I shred with another footbag player.............. 8O

Playing barefoot in the house today and working on toe stuff (cause thats all I can hit barefoot) and I got bored and tried and actually hit DATW twice, both ways, on my strong side. The out>in direction was easy to hit the second time, but in>out was a bitch cause I was hitting it with my foot tons of times but not stalling it. lol flip side I can barely hit ATW in>out.

Met with Johnny twice today to shred. The first one I hit nothing, but the second one had lots of new stuff. I wore my lavers instead of my everyday shoes. I hit spinning clipper, illusion both sides, and some new links Johnny suggested, like pickup>ss illusion. great session downtown in the new Harmony Square with it's awsome lighting!

Tons of shred today. Off and on at Harmony square for 3hrs, I had a 7-8 contact string of 2's, and beat PB of clipper>op clipper (don't know the count but lasted soo long I know it's my best). Then had a session at home and worked on ATW's and spinning clipper on weakside, footed it but not sealed. Weakside is weak b/c strongside lets it down :(
