martin, looking great! just keep striving for more consistency, and play with your fill ratios until you get something that is controllable quickly.

Not that ive had lots of stitching experience, but Martin those look really nice for a number 2 and 3! It seems you have the basic process down which seems to be a big step, and your bags are already looking a good size.

the next step (or what i found was the next step for me) is simply practice, improving needle control and stitch placement (I marked my stitch holes to start off with to get me going then after a few bags, once i knew where stitches should go i stopped using them) and getting comfortable.

Also, experiment. As no one can hope to make a decent and playable bag after only making 2 or 3 bags you can afford to play about a bit. try different sizes, different gather, different proportions and find one you like

Here are two bags I finished up yesterday.

The one on the left is for Josh of FAT, 58.1 g, lead and steel fill, Active green and tulip.

The one on the right is made with amaretta that I received from Sergey. One of the nicest guys out there. It weighs in at 63.7 g, lead and steel fill.

Will have a nice bag to post hopefully this afternoon if my lunch goes well. It is MASSIVE! Special request from Mathieu Gauthier. This bag may become an option in my bag sizes, if demand is there.

Don't you know how many reds, blues, greens, etc. you ordered? just try to compare them! I had no problems identifiying the colours names, but I don't have as much colors as you have!

its weird i thought andrew was actually comparing his own green/yellow bag to one of sergeys amaretta!!

i wish i had so many colours i couldnt tell them apart!

Sergey, that bag is beautiful! Cale that bag looks so great as well! Seems like you are progressing as quickly at stitching as you are at shred.

Here is an experimental bag for Mathieu Gauthier. 63 ish grams. Plastic and steel fill. 90's! flash back anyone?

Let me know if anyone else would be interested in footbags of this giant size. It cetainly made it feel weird making a standard Eskimo Bag.

Cale, that bag looks absolutely amazing. The 4 stitch plan, plus gather, is looking really good. The panels just pop and poof out elegantly. That's a worthy achievement for any stitcher.

Great bags, Andrew and Sergey. Love the extra large bag, Andrew. Just when you think you have a handle on stitch consistency and gather on smaller templates, larger ones offer a bit of a challenge. I say keep it up.

Oh and Sergey: You'll probably have to be obsessed with facile to remember the names of the colors.

But I often get confused between Cedar Berry and Garnet, because they both look so alike.

Cale that bag is CRAZY!! Frickin sweet, i needs to gets meself some marmalade and some amaretta

and must have been strange going big on that one Andrew. it feels really weird if im stitching something other than footbags when every mm doesnt count.
