So these sales are to Germany (where I am going before and after Worlds), BUT there is this SUPER online service in Germany, "Mitfahren" (I think that translates to "ride"?), where the comparative prices are, like, where it would cost $80 for a train, it can cost $20 for this service. It is like, you sign up online and people have ratings for security (so you don't get murdered), and drive you places for cheap since they are already going there. This is what my girlfriend has been doing in Germany. It's anywhere to or from Germany as far as I know.

I can't believe I missed this deal. My ticket is about $1300 before taxes and stuff, and that was SUPER cheap compared to everything I found (about $1700). If I hadn't bought my ticket already I would so jump on this. For anyone who doesn't fly much, this is RIDICULOUSLY cheap...

"ride-sharing" would be the translation. and i confirm that this is really a nice website, although theres no insurance for murder or anything else. im registered because i travel between aachen and berlin a lot and i have not given my realname there... for spam protection.

anyways, if you can get to germany cheap: do so. it should not be hard to get a cheap ride from anywhere in germany (small towns excluded). and even fliyng is cheap. i for example have a flight for 69€ (roundtrip).
