Just saw this today. Incredible juggling.

http://www.juggling.tv/vaults/view_vide ... 076ead5605

This got me thinking. What do you guys think about working on some doubles (or more) routines? I am not thinking about two minute routines for competitions, more along the lines of having two or more players shredding in some synchronized way and interacting with each other.

Here is an example. Imagine four players standing in a square, one at each corner and facing ninety degrees from one another. Now imagine the players performing cross-body rakes and passing bags around the square. The idea here is that there are four bags and the bags are all traveling around the square in the same direction.

I am hoping that if we hold public shred sessions this summer that we at least have a few planned routines to demonstrate footbag in an audience friendly way.

Just some thoughts. Let me know what you think.

Thanks.

Google Integration

Post by mikeanello »

I have added Google Ads and Google Search to http://www.rochesterfootbag.com . This should help drive some more traffic to our site.

Paul,

I tested the FTP site and was able to login as well as create and delete a folder. I recommend using FileZilla for FTP http://filezilla-project.org/ . It has a really nice interface and can store your FTP sites and login credentials for you making reconnects easy.

Peace.

Mike the website looks great.

Just got done with a short drill session... basically just 30 minutes of drilling illusions, followed by a short spin drill.

Any up for playing Tuesay this coming week? I'm free pretty much all day.

Thank you Erik.

Speaking of the website, I need member bios. I can add a picture later. Having a nice list of members will make our group a bit more impressive to the general public.

I should be available next Tuesday night for a shred session.

This coming Sunday I would like to have a public session. Doug Tank metioned Cobbs Hill last night and I think that might work well for us. In front of the water reservoir there is a nice raised area of solid marble. This might be a great stage for us to shred upon.

For directions to Cobbs Hill click the link below.

During the shred session I would like to hand out flyers to anyone that stops to watch or asks questions. Below is an example of the flyer. I would like to drive people to our site for information about footbag and bring attention to our group. If you have any suggestions for this flyer or would like to help design a new one, please do not hesitate to mention it.

Sunday, Cobbs Hill Reservoir, 3pm.

Is this okay with everyone?

I'll be there sunday, I have to take alex to syracuse that day. I'll check and see what time she needs to be out there. I may have to leave early or show up late.

Quick highlight of lastnight's session since I haven't done one in a long time. Only got to play for an hour due to a change in plans, but it was fun.

Bobby was there, and he has improved a lot! Lots of bothsided long tiltless strings, and he kept pulling random stuff out that just surprized the hell out of me every time (fairybeater, bs fear, blur..)

I had a couple long strings, but nothing out of the norm. One string with about 8 DLOs, started a string with pdx legeater (that trick feels awesome to hit).

Footed pixie plasma a couple times
hit slapping paradon, thats a new one

had a few good attempts at superfly, starting to figure out the proper set for it. footed a really clean one, I felt it nick the inside of my calf, then hit a couple thin ones.
