This thread is so the best thing on modified right now. It really really encourages a sense of worldwide community between us. Also, like most footbag things, it's not a contest and that's what keeps it fun.

Ken - fun run!

Ben - uhh, unreal! You're so smooth, keep at it bro!!

Manna - haha you said 'SBOS' like it was a chore!

edit: I didn't mean to take the top of another page. There's lots of one-shots on the previous page, obv.

Chang: Your string really surprised me. The eggbeater came like KLABLAW!

Sometimes when we play at the location where the videos are from you think somebody is coming because of the echo of your steps. It's surreal.

I think I will have another one for you later.

Asmus: the voice echo really freaked me out.
SB: I laughed at your intro
Eric Chang: Dude, you've improved a lot since Worlds. I was impressed.

I forgot to film one during my last session, but I had a good one today:

Asmus: Thanks for the one shot comment! Glad you enjoyed the KLABLAW of my eggbeater.

Ken: :) I don't feel like I've gotten any better really, but always working on my game. Maybe because I really didn't film myself before, so all this slow progression isn't as apparent. I've been enjoying the large amounts of one shots you've posted and the RAW was awesome(especially the rawr with your shirt!!)

Cheers

Here we go, Finally i get to post in the best thread on modified.

Usually I get frustrated with the camera before I do a one shot, but I got a new foam mat today and just had to show it off.

What's the policy on dropping one bag during a juggle? Since the other bag was still "live" I just kept going:

Totally Kyle. Dropping on a juggle is (and should be) considered a drop in competition. No doubt, no debate; I consider my routine in this thread to be a 1-drop. I even say as much at the end of the video.

For the purposes of the SBOSC, I decided I'd continue my "string" despite the drop, since there was still one "live" bag left at that moment. I think that if I dropped the bag at any other point in the routine, I would have stopped.

This was probably my most fun one-shot to date (better than my drunken one even). The purpose of the SBOSC is to see how consistent you are at footbag by only giving yourself one shot to film yourself. Whether you are measuring your consistency with a run, a routine, shred30, genuine, BOPs, or whatever else is entirely up to you, and what aspect of footbag you want to challenge yourself with. I hope other people try experimenting more with the bounds of this thread.

I hate that I'm posting after Ken's quasi-dropless routine. But here we go, a decently long run, with mad bails, off balance flipside paradox mirages, and two desperate attempts at a DATW.

Not bad Danny. I definitely think you can start phasing out the toe bails. Good string length.
