20,000 blog views

That's hard to concieve, I wonder what percent of those views are my own. I'd say like 25% of them. but anyway, thanks to those who checked it out the other 75% ;)

barely any footbag this weekend, i was out of state. I did get to shred a little though and did a small photoshoot...ha. I'll have the pics soon enough. I did a few nice long relaxed strings and A few big moves for the camera.

So yea, that other session was pretty decent. I always seem to have decent sessions but then by the end there is something new that always makes it a great session. That's what has been happening lately anyway. This time I think it was Fog BSOS that really put the cherry on top. Not mobius. I was already pretty close to mobius when i was shredding with pat and i think i should have hit it then so i kind of knew it was coming. Gyro DLO would have been a nice surprise but I need to keep working flip DLO before I nail that. My atomics are feeling better and better each day and i have really started to integrate my strong side into game play. My weak side needs work but it's like what my strong side was during winter time. i just have to drill it a lot. Flip pixie...what a bitch. Out of all the uptime sets I can do flip pixie is by far the most frustrating. I can't stand the on and off days anymore. And it seems no matter how muchI drill it, it goes no where. I mean, i see slight progression but nothing big. It really really has been the hardest concept for me to learn in my footbag career.

So there ya, go, hope you enjoyed that now I have to go fail an econ test.

Huge session. Fairy clicked. Redoing quantum. Drilling Pixie went better. Reverse egg is pretty natural.

More write-up later maybe.

Video tomorrow.

 I don't "post" here anymore.

I'm way too cool.

but props on all that. Fairy "clicked" eh? nice. Wish anything would do that with me . .

I had a pretty nice session today as well. The weather's going to be great this week I guess!

flip fairy, which is on my right foot ( ) is not really existant because of about 2 years of doing only pixies with the right toe. i already knew a while back that fairy was going to be easier on the left. but i really have been trying to learn things both sides now. (little late?) i have problems with the following concepts on flipside:

fairy (dex with right)
quantum (dex with left)
stepping ducking (dex with left)
illusion (dex with right)

when i say "problem" i mean, i feel retarded when i try them.

I'll get pixie legeater (thanks for the proper name) on video tonight. expect it in the next 2-3 hours.

thanks for the post matt :)

flipside sailing attempts tonight...

It sounds like you're landing flat footed. Try and be on your toes more.

The last run was pretty good.

Yes, i am landing flat footed. i keep on forgetting about playing on my toes, that's probably bad. i need to get on that.

the deck is pretty loud anyway, i think the softest footed player would be pretty loud.

Jorden is pretty flat footed, either that or he has very loud toes

I'm taking a rest day today, too much footbag for my body to handle lately. my muscles need to recover.

P.S.- zac, you seem like a quantum master...was that one okay?

Nice highlights. The last trick was sweet. You are improving, and i like your style. The PLO>Tripwalk was great. The quantum looked really tight, which i think is cool looking, almost hippy style.

P.S. Nice socks 8)

I think I almost died yesterday in that heat when i was footbagging. my god i was sweaty. My lungs felt like they were going to explode but i needed to hit something to maike the session worth it. It's a horrible (sometimes good) sickness that I have. I just have to hit something to satisfy my craving. So i hit diving drifter. Already hti it before in front of Pat but not on camera. I could barely move my body for the next 2 hours or so because I was so worn out, i would literally be out of breath and have to rest my muscles after going up a flight of stairs. It was kinda dumb to footbag but i did anyway. I want to shred today too but its going to be even hotter an more humid. And it's wet out so i might be out of options anyway. no video though, im at my girlfriends house tonight. I think im going to do some flip quantum and flip neo stuff. Flip quantum for sure since i cleared a bunch last night which im pumped about. I sleep in my attic and it was like 85 degrees up there last night so i was just sweating my balls off and got no sleep. now my eye wont stop twitching. no im rambling. bye.

I think I just sweat my last 10 days of food off...

shit.

anyway:

Predator
Flip Neo Butterfly
Ripped Warrior>Crispy Torque>Torque
Ripped Warrior>Backside Blur
Drilled flip illusion for much of tthe first half
ss pickup>ss legover x A lot (lost track around 30)
Practiced a few just pick up the bag and shred type of things, i like to do a few of those every so often just to see where I am.

I was so friggin sweaty and tired at the end of my session and the endorphins were running high, i felt like a ripped warrior, so I hit some up. I felt like I needed to get back on track with drills again so I did some for the first half, mostly illusons, wow, flipside needed it really badly...like...badly. pixie...uhh...fucking pixie. i feel like i havnt made any progress on it since like december. I think to myself, well i must be doing something wrong if im not improving. but then i look at my strong side and the form is no different than on the flipside. It must be some sort of mental block or something, there really is no excuse...wtf. And then cam predator, sick. yes! I mean, it's not that complex of a move...but thats what makes it amazing, it's so simply yet it has a nice difficulty. It's just very very fun.

Surprise!

It's really supple and floppy. It's fun for long non-shuffle runs :)
