Another First Video :)

Post by macca »

Just a video I made yesterday, very short, not the best strings but it is something I can work on. Enjoy :)

Thanks Matt!

Those are my very basics in that video :) Unfortunately a lot of my better strings didn't make it off the camera, I'd be interested to see if the style changes a lot with harder tricks.

Thanks for the feedback, motivates me to make another video :)

hey man! whered you get that idea for taping the ground? was it sergey, by any chance =] why do it if youre gonna step out? haha just giving you a rough time. it looks like your tiltless is coming along nicely. however, dont neglect pickup and illusion. they are harder, but you need those concepts for tricks later on.

your style looks SO much like cody carter, especially your clippers and legovers, and as a result your far legovers are exact copies. however, id advise you to change your clipper, its a little off. watch david claven's tutorial on clipper, its really good and informational.

hope this helps!

janis:
thanks for the feedback janis :)

yeh i can hit butterfly > butterfly very easily, its just a matter of filming some more again:)

thanks for the comments cale, appreciate it :)

sergey did give me the idea:) the only reason i actually did it was to make the ground a lil more interesting. i found that even though i did step out a couple of times, it was easier to watch :)

ill look in to the style and film something tommorow :) this time it will be half decent :) thanks for the feedback!

sweet!
haven't seen you play in ages, so I don't know where your games is at.
Leon tells me you have have been working on illusion, which is awesome!

Another suggestion would be toe set DLO and perhaps some filpside pixies.
Anyway liking your game these days, keen to see some more videos!

I was playing with my friend Doug a few days ago and he noticed that in my game there were a good amount of toe bails where I didn't need them, I was just doing them kind of mindlessly between drills in my strings. It seems like you are doing a little of the same thing. On the video, it seems like you do a good amount of near mirage>flip toe>legover. I bet you'd have an easy time with near mirage>lo>lo, and it would spice up the game a lot too.
