fearless 55?
fearless 55?
ive been playing for 8 or 9 months and ive been using a 32 panel sand hack. now i want a bead/pellet filled one and im not sure what to be looking for. right now im thinking about the fearless 55 amaretta but as far as weight and such im not sure how well it will be for me because ive never used anything but sand. what bag do you recommend?
fearless is always a good one basically abshires are good in general and then just about any stitcher in the for sale section can make you a custom one with the weight of your choice, besides you can always add more filler for weight

it does make it less durable, but thiers been cases of it lasting longer than facile... but it was probably just becuase the way people treated thier facile 55... but, amaretta breaks in really quick, and if you treat it good (wash it every 2-3 sessions, play on a rug or any surface thats completly {not a street}, and pick it up with your hands...) it should last you a long time.

Based on your experience with a sand bag, I would highly recommend a bag that is larger than the Fearless 55. A Fearless 55 is about half the size of a golfball or less; it's really too small of a footbag (for beginners anyway). Personally, if you're looking in Freedom Footbags I highly recommend getting a standard a-910 abshire or a Josh Raye bag. Both of these bags will serve your transition toward a shot-filled bag much better in the long run.

just like wasabi said... id reccommend a larger abshire if you have your heart set on his bags, or a josh raye. or any of the fine stitchers on modified, like matt cross, clavens, hania, shortis, or myself. anything not quite as microscopic as the 55 would be great for your game. i had a great time with my josh raye's, and got a great bag from matt and hania also. i didnt start to use my 55 mostly until i was doing 2 dex moves and uptime concepts. so make sure your game is ready before you buy an advanced bag like a 55.
my personal opinion after playing with both types:
bigger, facile bags are better than small amaretta. facile lasts longe, and feels just as good as an amaretta if not better once broken in. why not get your money's worth? also, i think bigger is good for spotting when it comes to spins and ducks, and looks better in play than a tiny bag.

So i have a josh raye and i love it. I think it would be a really good size for you. I don't have a camera handy right now but I can assure you that its a good choice. I also kind of partly learned on a fearless 55, so I'm biased towards that but I assure you that a josh raye is good for size at this point

I think this type of skepticism is stupid. If you fill it at a heavier weight (50-55 grams, depending on color choices) and play with your abshire constantly, it doesn't take much for a footbag to completely break-in. Really, it doesn't take much to ask a stitcher what sort of schematics you would like to have on a 32.Jordan wrote:the regualar abshire takes like 2 weeks to a month to break in
