So, I've been out of town for over a week now. I was at a camp in Catalina all last week and I'm now in Tucson. I'll be back in Vegas tonight and my training shall begin tomorrow. I'm uber excited!

At the camp, there was a talent show. I wasn't going to do any sort of footbag presentation because my ankle had been acting up, but at the last second (a.k.a. 20 minutes before the show) I decided to go for it. I did a presentation with my friend. I played footbag, he danced. I did a short introduction to footbag like Dave did in his presentation, then I played as my friend danced next to me. We spun it like his dancing was interpreting the artistic thoughts that go on inside a footbaggers brain. It was way funny and the audience was amazed with footbag. Plus I didn't drop until the very end. I don't know how long it was but if I guessed, I'd say it was around a minute to a minute and a half without dropping. I was happy with it and afterwards we got tons of compliments. Someone filmed most of it, so whenever I get it I'll post it.

1 hour sets training. Short runs and poor stamina as expected, but I'm just happy to be playing again. :D

Expect regular posts in this topic again.

EDIT: Just after posting this I tried to hit tatw. Hit it third try barefoot. First time ever! I'm so happy! :D Time to go to bed.

Here's a short clip of the very end of the talent show I spoke of above: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php ... =754621232

You may not be able to see it if you're not my facebook friend.

I know that someone got most of it, but I haven't been able to get it from him yet.

That looked like you both had a great time.
And sounds like the audience was having a blast as well.

Thanks for the comments Asmus and Dave. I'm happy you take the time to read my stuff sometimes even though it's not very interesting. :?

Shred today. Was fun. Hope to do it again soon.

How's everything down in Vegas? Is Loren still kicking? Are you done with School yet?

I don't think my camera can do live feeds. It's a pretty basic camera that uses hi-8. however, I was wondering if you wanted to have a Hack-Off for fun :) I'm ready to get spanked in online competition

Here's my video from the Ben Hack Off Challenge. Anyone have any tips on improving my toe set butterflies? They look horrid. Check out one at 7 seconds to see what I mean.

Any other tips, comments, suggestions?

Maybe just wait a bit longer before you go into it?

It seems like you're putting too much effort into some stuff, specifically bail-type stuff like pdx mirages and butterflies.

Or maybe you could just switch butterfly out with whirl! :P

When I don't put the effort in, it seems like my form gets worse.

yo dude your game is ROCKIN!!! Your style and form, not to mention trick selection, are BOMB; however since you seem to be one of those who like feedback, all i have to say is that the angle of your knee on your butterflies is about 110 degrees instead of 90. and 90 is a bit more asteticaly pleasing.... change that if you want, it'd probably take more effort than its worth, but thats about all the constructive criticism I've got. Make more vids!

edit: degrees from calf to thigh

Thanks for the tip Nate! I never actually thought of that before. I was always worried about my hip placement instead of the knee, but it makes total sense. Thanks again.
