Hello and welcome. You probably do not know me. I am from Athens, Georgia and i have been on modified for a while, i read a LOT more than i post. I have been playing for one year. I learned from Drew Nicholson and the internet. Drew is the only other footbag player i have EVER met and we go to the ame high school. He is better than me, but the student is catching up to the "master". We both would benefit from meeting more advanced players and can't wait until that day when we shall lose our meeting-real-footbag-players virginity. I do not know if i am as good as i should be or as good as i could be, but i love the sport. So, here is where i stand in footbag.

1.) I guess i could list what i can do but i'd rather describe it. I can do all 'basic' tricks and was advancing rapidly until i got some shin splints, but i'll talk about that in a sec. I can do reverse whirl bs, ducking tricks, smear, torque, datw, i've hit tomahawk (only not really cause it was reverse but idk what thats called!!), ripwalk back to back bsos, p.l.o., far rev. whirl, umm and some other stuff. i dont really like listing this for some reason. Also, as far as being disciplined and doing things both sides, i suck on toes both sides but im alright if it involves clipper. i hit bsos drifter the other day!

2.) now i will talk about tricks im working on. i started working on barfly the other day. idk if i will be hitting it soon, but i have got the motion down. i kicked myself in the balls trying it and oh my did it hurt!!!!! i was probably doing something wrong that time... i am also working on sticking datw into the middle of runs cause drew does it so fluidly and i can only do it if i start off with it. also, spins, i cant spin.

3.) injuries. it hurt to walk yesterday. i play every few days b/c it hurts my shins. right now my left shin is tenderand my right calf is perpetually sore. its weird. i stretch a lot but it still sore and we dont have any bannanas. i toe tap. i need to toe tap more. i am hopeful that i will get over these but for now i need to take it easy and not push myself and im sure a lot of you know how tempting it is to play when you shouldt...

4.) stitching. i have made about 5 32 panels and i took this up when my shin splints started. i use butter suede since im in practice stages. all my bags have come out about the size of a walnut and they arent too great. so today i made the pattern ridiculously huge ( or at least i thought it was) and its actually not that bad. im really focusing on having the same number of stitches and consistency. i should put up some pics when i have time. thanks waylon lew for giving me pointers when i asked.

awww sweet i spelled my freaking name wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its salzman not whatever i put, i need to see how to fix that....

and i fixed it

today i learned what the edit button does.

I just read the guidelines for the blog section and the part about who we hope to play with reminded me that i had a dream last night that i shredded with vasek. and then i remembered and that my friend drew had a dream that he shredded with Jim Penske but then Jim's mom came and Drew's mom, Jim's mom and Jim himself, all went to the movies without drew. sorry if that creeps you out mr. penske.

im sure that posting every 2 mintues on my blog is a common symptom of new bloggers. sorry.

ordered that from fields last nihgt. i heard that tulip isnt as strong or something but i dont mind. i've been working with butter suede and im sick of it. i want some real stuff. where do stitchers get steel shot from? im gonna try the local gun shop and see if they have some.
