East Coast Jampionships in State College, PA 6/28-29?
I was wondering how much interest would there be if this were happening?
I don't plan on doing much, but would love it if people wanted to come bye here for a loose weekend of footbag. I will be giving myself a bye to the finals if applicable.

Crash space is very limited, if your initials aren't GF Smoothie, Outsider, PI, CF, VB, BobR, or Jack Lentz maybe plan on splitting a hotel. I can recommend/or block out a bunch somewhere if need be.
This post doesn't replace a ECFC for '08, does it?

so it's not a conflict with any east coast that i can host.
but i am having difficulty making the time to secure a venue.
i have some stuff in the works but figured at this point i need to look beyond june for a good date.

Potential attendees,
It looks like there's a fair bit of interest, so maybe I should find a host hotel.
I have two in mind:
Ramada Inn- + ~3 blocks from my house, super close to a prime park,
- $ reg. ~$99, not really walking distance to downtown,
Days Inn + right downtown (quick access to eateries, bars, etc.)
less expensive than Ramada reg. ~$76
- not very close to a good venue
If you feel strongly about the options, now is your chance to comment.
I'll look into getting a group discount at both in the next day or two, and see if that clears up the picture any.

Hey all,
Ramada quoted a group rate of 97$, Days Inn 89$. Not much of a discount in either case. You could probably do better with AAA or AARP or something.
I won't block either out unless there is demand to do so.
Here are the phone numbers
Ramada (814) 238-3001 or www.ramadasc.com
Days Inn (814) 238-8454
If you don't like either of those, there are plenty of other hotels in town. Some are pretty cheap, but not very nice. If that's your ballgame, speak up.
