Thanks Ken, I'll keep that in mind when I tape my 2nd session!

I've been kicking on and off for most of the afternoon.

Laver Session
Highlight's;
Footed Ducking Swirl
Footed Flip Ps Whirl
Whirl > Blurry Whirl bsos
Far Symple Swirl b2b starting with the weaker of the 2
Footed Twirl bsos :evil:
Rev Swirl Bsos
Swirl Bsos
Pixie Blender, I'll try to hit this on cam when I tape
Footed What?!?, at first I thought yesterday was a fluke, but then I footed it 2nd try, phew!
Far Symple Swirl > Duck Butter b2b, I want to rpt this
Footed Vortex, haven't hit this in a long time, felt good when I came so close

When I kick tonight, I'll probably kick in my lavers again. Who know's, depends on how my feet feel.

Later....

Josh,

Great stuff! You are an animol! 8)

Challeges/requests:
- atomic blender (bsos)
- far twirl (would that be paradox?)
- far butterfly twirl (That is possible for a man of your caliber! 8) I am sure you can hit it :wink: )
- 50 guitless (3's or 4's only)

I can't wait to kick with you again. I want to see those swirl moves. I always loved twirl! What is your guiltless record? Just curious. Keep it simple (3's or 4's) and go for long runs might be helpful.

Congrats on graduating! I wish you luck on your next endever/adventure!

We should be able to kick soon! Take care and have a great week!

later,
Mike Jauss
-almost guiltless-
-more fiber = longer runs!
"Fairy Nice" - me :lol:

1st session with the crew in quite awhile! Too bad Mike couldn't be there.

Blake was doing good! I showed him Fs Blur and within 10 attempts he gets it. Way to go dude!

Conrad was having an off day. He was still able to hit all of his pixie stuff.

I had an alright session.

Highlight's;
Made Blake ask "What was that?!?!" To me after hitting What!?!? Then hitting again after being asked :wink:
Also made both C-Rad and Blake say "What the?!?" To Butterfly Twirl :wink:
Some good runs
Alpine Sidewalk 1st try
Blurry Whirl b2b
Toe Blur, in shoes!
Janiwalker at the EOS! 2nd try at a furious set! Conrad and Blake both saw, but I don't think Blake knew what I hit :P Conrad confirmed that it was clean and beautiful!
Haze, had a race to see who would hit it first, I won
Tri-Force up to 8 > Ripwalk > Step Same Mirage > Drop > Props from a couple of chicks!
Pdx Torque > Blurriest footed

That's all I can remember. I'm tired, I'm going to bed!

*EDIT* Just remembered that I hit an absolutely beautiful Superfly in this session too!

Thx Ken

So yeah, I was gonna do a giant ass write up of the concert I went too. That was forever ago, so don't expect anything to big. IRON MAIDEN ROCKS!!!!! And that's all anyone needs to know :wink:

I haven't really kicked since a couple of tuesday's ago when I kicked with Conrad and Blake.

I have been doing a bunch of barefoot toe 2 toe stuff. It's been really fun. I've footed Quantum Dod (Plasma?), Quantum Whirl and Quantum Blender.

Here are some highlight's of stuff I've hit today, all barefoot;
Tap > Tripwalk
Tap > Slapping clip
Tap > Slapping Mirage, footed
Magellan > Quantum Lo
Quantum Lo > Magellan > Scrambled Egg
Osis x4 barefoot
Blurry Lo > Trip
Ps Whirl
Barrage > Trip

That's about it. I'm gonna kick in my laver's right now and try some of these things with shoes. Wish me luck.

It's really sad how some people take things way to fucking seriously and that they take anything and everything that somebody says up the ass.

Had my first real session with shoes in over probably 3 weeks? Well, it was May 20th when I kicked with the crew last, and it's the 11th of June today. So, yup, 3 weeks and 1 day since I've kicked in shoes.

Needless to say, I've been really lazy footbag.

It was a good session. My stamina wasn't really that low, I had a couple of really good runs. Footed clip set What?!?! My quantums weren't really working, but hey, I did hit a couple of tricks for the 1st time in shoes.

Highlight's;
Quantum Lo
Slap

Footed Big Apple 3 times

That's all I can remember. I got quite a bit of it on vid, including my 1-Shot which was ok. I'm really proud of this combo, which I ended the session with; Fairy Muted Clip > Muted Blurry Clip > Swifter. It took me a million tries, maybe not a million, but a few, the Swifter was so smooth. Think of Johnny Suderman's Swifter in this combo; Muted Nuke Clip > Swifter. It was that smooth! I'm kinda mad that I already had turned off the camera, like, 20 min's before. I had already decided to quit for the day when I decided to try the combo :evil: Oh well. Maybe next time I'll remember.

Ohh yeah, just remembered. I hit that great sick 3 with my Suder bag too :P

IRON MAIDEN ROCKS!!!!!!!
Please, write the write-up!

I'm going to see maiden on 18th July, can't wait!

Can you remember some of the songs they played? Which song did they start with? Or what did they quit with? I heard they're mostly playing songs from the albums Somewhere in time and Powerslave. Those are the best 2 albums

Lauri I'm so jealous! I want to see them again! Literally the best concert EVER!!!!!

Have you listened to their Live After Death CD? The first CD of it? They basically redo that first CD. They even did a couple of songs off of Seventh Son, Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind and Fear of the Dark.

Here's what I can remember;
Churchill's Speech
Aces High
The Trooper
Revalations
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Moonchild
The Number of the Beast
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Powerslave
Run To The Hills
2 Minutes To Midnight
Flight Of The Icarus
Fear Of The Dark
Can I play with Madness
Heaven Can Wait
Wasted Years
Iron Maiden

Not in that order.

I believe that's it. I might've added a couple extra in there, but I could be wrong. The first 2 I know are right. Aces High is one of my favorite songs.

You are gonna have a blast dude! That's all I can really say!

Onto some footbag related stuff. I kicked last friday. Had the camera out too. I got that and the footage from that tuesday onto my comp. I just need to go and create each idividual clip and get them onto youtube. I'll be doing that tomorrow before I kick and end up having a million and one things to upload.

Peace!

Josh,

Great stuff. Your game is coming along. Makes me really jealous that I can't kick, yet! :evil: Your all grown up. :cry: sniff sniff.. seems like you have a lot of great tricks to chose from. What is your longest tiltless and guiltless runs to date? I challenge you to add 15 to the tiltless and 10 to the guiltless! :D

Can't wait to kick with you and the crew one of these days!!

How is everything else going? work? school? It is all getting better on my end. I just need to start kickin soon and things will be way better....

ttyl. take care...

Thx Mike! Can't wait to kick with you too. It's been too damn long man!

Just had a session. Wasn't that great. It's really muggy inside my house, and I'm sweating a river.

I recorded it too, but the only thing that's good on it is the 4 dada's I did for the Trick Of The Week thing. And Rubberman > Run. I also did a run dedicated to Erik Chan with BSOS Blurry Rev Whirls, one Stepping Rev Whirl, Rev Tomahawk and ending with a drop on Alpine Blurry Rev Whirl.

I tried to get 5 fearless on tape, seeing as both blurry whirls were on, so was my blurriest.

Here's what I got;
1st try; Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > Pdx Torque footed
2nd, 3rd and 4th; Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl
5th; Blurry Whirl > Blurriest
6th; Matador > Blurry Whirl
7th and 8th; Blurriest > Pdx Torque
9th; Blurriest > Pdx Torque > Blurry Whirl footed

I figure that I can hit blurriest > pdx torque > blurry whirl > blurry whirl > ps whirl > mobius > far motion > pdx blender > gybas > food. Theoretically, of course. I might be able to do more if I solidify my clip > toe 5's, and my toe > clip 5's.

I might be able to throw in 3 more with reactor, fog and alpine fairy beater.

Hmmm,

Reactor > Blurry Whirl > Blurriest > Pdx Torque > Blurry Whirl > Mobius > Tomahawk > Fog > Alpine Fairy Beater > GYBAS > Far Motion > Pdx Blender > Ripped Warrior

That's 13 that I could theoretically do. I might just start working on Fog > Alpine Fairy Beater more now, so I might be able to do that combo. Maybe later, I just want to get my legs back into shred, and get my sets back.

I did have a good look at a little toe > toe shuffle today. Plo > Fairy lo > Fairy lo > plo, had that one off of my foot, and also Fairy lo > Plo > Plo > Fairy Beater. I guess my toe sets/tricks are getting better. That's good!

This turned into a long post. Especially about something that I shouldn't worry about for awhile. Ohh well. I guess that's what happens when you have bad conditions to kick in.

If you haven't checked out Erik Chan's new vid, you should. It's great to see him shredding again. He has a great style, and is fun to watch. Go see it.

I'm off.

PEACE!!

I wasn't planning on kicking today, or even really touching any of my footies. But hey, here's a lil something I did for fun;

Swirl > swirl > swirl > rev swirl > swirl > rev swirl > swirl > swirl > swirl > swirl > rev swirl drop

My best swirl run ever!

I did some barefoot stuff last night;

Flip Ripstein
Flip Swirling Pickup, reverse rev up
Ripstein bsos

Now the nest time I kick, I'm gonna try for flip ripstein and see if I can get it!

Kicked yesterday for the first time in quite awhile. Ok, a week, but last week I was only able to kick for 20 min's. Didn't feel up to it. But yesterday was another story.

Warmed up, I purposefully took longer to warm up than usual. I think that really helped.
Fairy b2b, probably somewhere around 20. To bad I can't Pixie b2b like that.
Then started working real sets and runs again.

Far Swirl b2b
Rev Swirl > Pdx Whirl bs
Dyno > Pdx Dlo bs, footed bsos first try at it
Pdx Whirl b2b a couple of times
Whirl > Rip rpt for 12 contacts
A run with Swirl bsos, Toe Ss Symple Rev Swirl, Toe Symple Swirl, Far Swirl, Butter Swirl, and Rev Swirl
Matador Bsos, hit flip first try 8O
Footed Pdx Tapdown bsos
Twirl > Blurry Osis

And some other meager stuff that I can't remember. I'll probably kick again today.

On a side note. I ordered myself some Quantum 03's. I can't wait till they get here! My feet/legs don't like my Goonits anymore :cry: Ohh well, I'll tough it out till they get here.
