sorry dude i wound up going to a party and getting completely bombed. id feel bad but honestly the boston scene is pretty much totally dead at this point anyway

looks like im back to being pretty much a solo player until the end of the summer. s'aight, i dont really want to play much with people anyway until i start getting good again...

which brings me to my next point- had a good, fairly varied, injury free session. it was short but i hit a few decent strings, using my toe game a lot more. my flip gyro is finally coming along (gyro clipX4 to start a good string). i feel like i can be as varied as any player around (ok not flash, johnny suderman, or a good few others, for example) once im back up to snuff, especially with my new flip toe game and flip gyro/spinning.

hopefully playing again tomorrow.

smear>tap>atomsmasher>smear>tap>dimwalk>run

that was also from yesterday. hopefully go play again now.

pretty good session...cool string starting with "blurry" rev whirl>ss symp mirage, good string starting with a textbook flurry, and a nice 30+ contact bop string.

but im still not happy with my game, aside from the fact that there's still a lot of moves i have to stay away from (like a lot of my favorite moves on my favored side...), it still feels too forced when im playing, my legs basically NEVER feel springy and energetic.

still, im just glad to be able to play at all again. 1 month to get any good again before nyc...

Post by Fraun »

I played with Sonny and Josh in providence yesterday

I Played like crap. Doing dynos mid string now w00t.

Sonny can hit DATW...which i still cannot
and Josh isn't too bad...he still loves playing like some one who is good at hackysack though

Going up to boston TUESDAY after i get out of work...between 4 and 6:30....either way up in beantown by 8 or 9.

It's not looking good for me being able to kick this week with you guys.

My break times at 6pm are all tied up with last minute jobs for work stuff.

May have to be on a return visit in the future.

But on another note, it's been really cool playing with everyone and I definitely learned a shit load! Boston will always be my crew!
