ECFC 2008 - 25 years and counting, August 2nd and 3rd

Post by bingchenzo »

ok, so I realized it's the East Coast Footbag Championships 25th year.

Next year will be the 25th anniversary if I count this stuff correctly.

Can I get a historian on the mic? Pete?

Anyway, local hero Phil Norrod had already set up a venue August 2nd and 3rd at a sweet venue that is about an hour west of DC in Warrenton, VA, and I'm hijacking it with his permission to make that the East Coast Footbag Championships.

More details to come.

If it's easier to get to DC, do that, and I will figure out how to get everyone to the site.

Here's the footbag.org listing - http://www.footbag.org/events/show/1204858442

Even though none of you are coming to my jam, I'll try to make it out to yours.

I think I will be there. Two day event I'm guessing, any possibility of crash space?

bad news, ECFC postponed further until later in September

Post by bingchenzo »

the storms through virginia have killed the venue Phil have set up, and he was told they can't let him have the event there after all.

I am going to try and secure a new venue for sometime in September.

I will also make sure Joe and Brenda are still up for Funtastiks labor day weekend, if they aren't I will do what I can to make sure a 3 day event happens then.

Sorry for the lack of east coast so far this year. it's a busy one for me.

If it's in Autumn on the weekend of September 19-21 I won't be able to show up to this event, because I'll be in Canada for Hackrifice.

Otherwise, I'll try my best to attend and help however I can. Good luck on the venue.
