My friend got a mr. sandbag a while ago, and after playing with that, I realized how much a difference a good footbag made (we were using old hemp ones). His mr sandbag got ruined, so I ordered a couple more for us, along with a conlon 32 pellet (http://www.footbagshop.com/conlon-32-p-261.html) from Dragonfly footbags.
Anyways, I got it today, and after playing with it for a bit, I didn't like it at all. It's completely filled with pellets, which makes it crazy hard for me to stall.
On to the questions. Oh yeah, I guess I should tell you I just circle kick, with the occasional stall/trick thrown in. I'm pretty bad, I can just stall on my toe and the side of my foot, and keep it up for around 40 kicks (with the mr. sandbag)
Are they supposed to be filled to the top? I'm used to the mr. sandbag being filled around half way. It seems kind of weird.
Does it make much of a difference if I work it in or not?
Is it possible for me to open it up, take out the pellets, and put in sand, without messing up the bag, if I have NO skill or practice whatsoever? If so, how would I go about doing that?
Thanks in advance.
BTW, great forums, nicest people I've seen on the interent
So I just bought my first footbag, and I have a few question

dragonfly footbags suck! if your really looking for a good 32 panel, look in the For Sale thread, or look at the topic called bags any stiticher has made (to find a good stitcher that sells bags) they are around $30 to $40, but their is some stitchers that sell bags for $15 or $25, just find what you would like... but for someone that is new to the game like you, just stick to your Mr.Sandbag, it should be perfect for your play.

You can definitely refill the bag you have. I prefer copper BBs for bags much larger than a golfball, half-full with some poly pellets left inside. Use a plastic Bic pencil to widen up one of the seams and stick a straw in it, like Andrew said.
If you want a bag that stalls really easy, PM "gangsta" or Louis Rinowski because he makes some really good and cheap stally 4-panel sandbags. I think he's a little sore from sewing recently as he had to fill a 100 4-panel sandbag order for another player, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Do what Joe said and take out some of the pellets. If it feels too light, you could add some BBs to give it that extra weight required for the perfect stall. Bags are meant to be about half full but everyone is unique. Finding the right weight and fill will help you a lot.

Unfortunately, you didn't purchase the right kind of bag...don't believe what they tell you on the websites, it's all bullshit. What you have right now sucks, so don't even waste your time with it, keep practicing with the sandbag.
FYI: Whenever you need a pro-bag, get if from a stitcher on the forum. The price of such a bag is usually <= 35 bucks.

It's called footbag net lolrennie wrote:Yesterday me and my friend played some net hack (no idea what it's supposed to be called, we just play with badminton rules), and the shitty conlon 32 works perfect for it. Thanks for the help.
