I was kinda stiff and sore, but I felt like making a shred vid. It turned out alright. Lemme know what you think!

I liked it. Like Mike said, the datws were great.

You have nice variety, but I think your game could have something more added to it. The only 5's you did were Phoenix and Blurry Whirl (well, Reactor too I guess. :P). It looks like you could do Blurry Drifter, Fog, Atomic Drifter, etc. all pretty easily. I'd like to see those.

Some quantum stuff would also be nice, it's a nice addition when mixed in with atomic shuffle and such.

Umm... double downs and blenders are also cool.

But yeah, good video. I liked it. :D

Go Ben Roscoe, Go Canadaland!

Nice video, I was especially intruiged by the reactor I saw hidden in there. Best flow ever.

Have a fun time in Europe.

Great vid. I really like your ducks and dives, they make me want to practice them more. nice flowing style to. The second song surprised me. i used to listen to that song as a kid.

Thanks again for the vid.

8O a roscoe video on the fly! Rare and very welcomed. It'd be swell if you did more of these. And once again your music selection makes my well up with happiness. Good choices.

I agree with Zac that there's something about your game that needs a little spice. Dare I say a bit too many infinities? I think what it comes down to, however, is that you prefer long, fun strings so you don't mind doing osis b2b and infinities and knee bumps to stabilize and allow you to transition into more flow combos. And I base this only on observation at GRASS and in this video alone since we've yet to have a deep conversation about style and trick selection over tea and scones (NYC jam?).

 I clapped for reactor.
 you have the coolest toe barrages out there
 don't do too many blenders. I want to pretend I can still keep up with you from time to time. :o Just joking. Be a Bowler rival with blenders. SHRED ON!

thanks for all the comments, guys! I'm in the peg right now, actually. Hopefully I'll be coming to your session with Andrew tomorrow at the forks around 5:30, Manna.

Sorry, Chad, but I don't think I'll be able to make it out to Barrie before I head to Europe. Come to Worlds! We'll shred there.

I would like more variety, and the density of my strings is certainly a source of self-doubt for me. I've been working alot on really common, basic concepts and I want to get them consistently the way I want them before I start expanding. There are still a bunch of things I'm not satisfied with yet, but hopefully I'll start skooling blenders soon. We'll see.

About double downs, I'm going to go without for another year, as I travel around Europe and Asia and stuff. I get worried around barflies just because it makes so much sense that you would sprain an ankle on it. I've sprained my left ankle 5 times now and I don't want to be dealing with that during my travels. When I get back, I'll prolly start phazing them back in if I'm totally satisfied that my ankle is strong again.

Nice video Ben. The shred was really good. Your style is really smooth. You used a lot of variety of moves and used both sides well. Keep doing what you are doing. My only advice would be to add smear, smudge, and pixie same side moves. If you throw in a symposium mirage or symp pixie now and then you will develop your leg strength faster than without doing these moves.

Peace.
