Spencos are the best insoles on the market, and are highly recommended for footbag. I wear orthotic Spencos these days, so I can't do these mods, but I had in the past done this mod to my Spencos and it worked alright. Just don't make a deep cut.
Or, if you're getting something like the "Cushioned Arches" variety of Spencos, the mod isn't necessary, as the area in question is already too soft to interfere with the clipper so there's no need to cut.

Do whatever to your shoes...like, when you're using them do you feel 100% comfortable or you feel like there's something missing? I always had that feeling before I tried different shoes.

I never liked the Spencos with the yellow polyeurathane material on the bottom. I agree that it does feel really weird, and it also raised my heel to an unsatisfactory point.
Personally, the "Arch Cushions" versions were the insoles that I've used for a couple of months, and they felt like I had pillows underneath my feet.
I think the regulars have the same effect as well.

well, im saving up money for Quantum 3's and I dont have the extra cash to go out and buy a $20 insole... Plus my lavers are the most compfortable shoe ive ever owned... So, I dont think im gona be making any extra purchases for them, except for maybe a couple of new pairs of thin laces... Btw I might do a broka cut tonight...
