Update time!
Well Texas states was a blast. Thanks to everyone who made it out. Especially Outsider for coming all the way from NJ. I did a small write up, plus results and shiz here:

New life has been breathed into my footbag game because:
I got a new pair of Black Q3s. whatwhat! These things are the shizNITE!

I got some patching tape and am in process on
fixing some of choice bags that were put on the bench because of single holes.
The tournament was tons of fun and very inspiring. I played really well, and for the first time DIDN'T choke in competition (even though I wasn't really competing except in circle).
Had a session with Cody last night. It was good. He is getting pretty darn consistent these days. He had to leave early, so I played solo for another hour or so.
Highlights:

Spinning PDX Mirage and Ducking PDX Mirage BSOS in the same guiltless run

PLO > PLO > run. Never hit that before

Flip paste and flip smudge. New

Near DLO and bubbabeater BSOS in the same run

Dive > Duck > RPT > run with DLO BSOS

Zulu Butter > Zulu Butter

hand catch
Then I decided I was going to school whirls, since I've never hit one flipside and strongside is sketchy. I told myself "OK I'm going to attempt 20 on each side, and I'm not going to stop until I've tried 20 on each side. I'll start on flip". Toss to toe> set to clipper >
flip whirl on first attempt > hand catch. I was stunned. It was so easy. After spending a good while doing various celebratory moves (front handspring, jumping off stuff etc.) I attempted it again, but in 19 other tries could not hit it again. Strong whirl got more consistent, I need to stay over the bag more, that makes it much easier. I almost came crazy close to strong PDX and toe whirls.
Pixie and DLOs were really on this session. I need to keep a mental note to school those some more to get them consistent. Who knows maybe I'll hit a triple dex one of these days.
