hey chris, if you are driving to the east coast champ. you can count me in on pitching in for gas. I was telling doug that I'm almost positive you have to come through syracuse to get to the part of PA you need to be at anyway so you could swing by whenever you are planning on it and pick me up.

pat, sorry to disappoint, but I can't go. I was thinking about it and it doesn't make sense for me, time and moneywise. I've had 3 costly weekend trips in the last month, and next weekend I have another. Also, I would go directly south from Geneseo to get there, so we would have had to figure out another way to get you on board.

anyway, think you could make it to a session on sunday?

I had a great time last night at Thursday at the Square in Buffalo. I hope to do it again.

Can we have a Sunday session, say 2pm, any place is fine with me. Paul, do you have any preference? Call me. Call everyone.

I hear ya Chris. I was a little shaky to go myself and I'm kind of wishing I had gone thursday. I was telling Doug we need to go to a lot more than last year.

BUT it looks like I could easily make it out to rochester on sunday and play for a while. Just figure out the time and place and I'll be there.

sorry guys I couldn't make it. I woke up on time - I had set my alarm so I could have enough time to evaluate how well I was feeling and if I could make the trip. But I decided I'd rather just lay low today. I'm coming down with something suddenly and I wasn't too sure if it'd pass in a day or two. It hasn't.

And judging my incredibly poor shred I just came back from I'm pretty glad I didn't come (not that I wouldn't want to come just to chill with you guys

) .

Anyway, hope the shred went well. I'll get in touch later. Maybe the next session? I'll keep checking back here. I think I'd be down with the next Thursday in the Square if ya'll are up for it. I guess THAT depends on my job searching as well. But we'll see. Peace.

there is a potential session in the mix for this thursday in rochester, it depends on whether or not chris switches shifts with a co-worker again. i dont know about going to buffalo but it is a possibility.

I hit gyro barroque today at the jampionships, first try ever. Jay said it was clean. Then, I hit it again, third or fourth try. You guys should all come to buffalo on thursday and I'll hit it.

cool matt! I've never seen you hit barroque before and gyro barroque could be strung into one of your runs so well! I'd like to see it for sure!

as for Thursday ; ; whatever. I'll come to rochester and you guys can decide where we shred. I'll just jump on board wherever. I'm excited. This upcoming week is going to really busy and I'll need some good ol' legball.

RFA, listen up. I had an idea today that I hope you will like. I discussed it with Matt Cross and he too thought it was a good idea. So here goes. How would you feel about having an RFA jersey to where at public shred session? What I mean by jersey is a t-shirt with your last name on the back and something on the front that represents the RFA.

My reasons for wanting jerseys:
1. We will look like a team.
2. We will show that we are an organization.
3. We will not blend in with hacky sack players.

I am willing to take care of the monetary value of these jerseys. I consider this an investment in footbag, in the RFA, and most importantly in you. Each member will get two jerseys.

If you like this idea, we will begin design discussions. For the most part, the jersey will have your last name on the back across the shoulders. On the front will be our name Rochester Footbag Association and perhaps some small design but the design is not neccessary.

i like the idea. we've discussed getting soccer-type jerseys a few times and i've always been in favor of a team t-shirt. i can pitch some money in.

besides you, Matt, Paul, Aric, Doug, and Ian, should we offer a shirt to anyone else? Ryan Thomas comes to mind, and there are probably others.

The color that comes to my mind is green, after GRASS. Or some other earthy color, like a brown similar to the uberkickin spikenshredin shirts.

Hey Mike, to be honest, at first I didnt like the idea because I didnt think I was really good enough to wear a jersey, but then I figured, it's more of a reputable symbol for footbag than anything. Bottom line, sounds like a great idea and I will also help contribute some moolah.

Also, props to Matt for hitting gyro barroque! I look forward to seeing it in person.

Doug,

You are more than good enough as a player. Regardless of your level of ability, you are a dedicated member of the RFA and that is the kind of person that deserves a jersey.
