"Crocheting" is the method used to make these bags, not the material.

I've also heard them called Guatamalan bags. Sipa sipa bags. Rasta, like you said. And just plain "Crocheted bags".

These bags are the ones i started with when i was only really in to hackin. their only really good if you just wanna hack with your buds, but still wouldnt be much fun to a average freestyle footbag player.
