In a recent e-mail, Scot Hansen wrote:Next Chicago events:

Every Sunday at Union Park, 2-6 PM, except…

July 5-6 at Columbus and Balbo for Scott D’s event

July 13th at Welles Park for the Chicago Inner Circle’s 8th Anniversary Party
So, I'll be playing net at Union Park just about every Sunday. I do have Satudays off and I'd like to kick at Welles as much as possible.

CIC Birthday Jam July 13 - Welles Park
(just thought it needed some emphasis - maybe I'll put something up in Journeys to Tourneys? If nobody beats me to it)

Hey guess what? That's my birfday too. And I almost got forced into working that day, setting up a booth at a trade show. I got out of it. First disagreement with my boss that I've won. Probably also the last.

So let's also plan on:
Welles Park, Saturday, 2pm

Anybody want to do a Sunday Welles session as well? If there's not enough interest I'll just kick it in the 60618 like a gun-toting uncle.

Dang... I'll just skip the ride this year, then. I want to be well rested so I can play all day long during the jam.

Nathan and I just rode bikes and played footbag for about 12 hours straight. Criss crossed all of chicago under our own power.
I love how all of us rode our bikes there true gang style.

Footbag @ peacefest was fun. some cute chicks there. some cool peeps.

The photo scavenger hunt afterward was hecka fun. Our team cleaned up and won by fraggin 20 points.

i wanna make milkshakes... i can't hang tomorrow after footbag for this (assuming i don't sleep for like 15 hoursand be sore like a mofo from all this riding and kicking - i swears i'm good on exercise for a month - like a squirrel baby, stock that shit up), but yeah this week - milkshakes, in a blender with some fresh fruit upon it.

Fruit on it!

I tried to retrace the route from last night with google maps. Minimum twenty miles minus all the laps around Wicker Park.

I'm so fucking beat. Don't know if I'll kick today.

I feel super. Thanks fr asking. Not sore one iota. I slept a sweet 9.5 hours, and I'm sure that helps.

Did y'all play net in the (threat of) rain?

I've already got plans. Sorry dude. Tuesday's my M:tG night.

If the weather isn't terrible tomorrow I'll most likely kick it. But it isn't looking good. Also probably kicking Thursday, don't know yet about Friday but will probably end up kicking at some point, and then of course there's Midwests.

You mean Craw Giant. RAMPAGE 2 MUTHAFUCKA.

I've got my gear to kick tonight but Taste & the lakefront is gonna be so crowded that it would be a pain in the ass. So I've got a couple spots that could work - Daley Plaza (Picasso statue) at Washington & Dearborn, or 212 South Dearborn (Dearborn & Adams - post office with another giant modern statue).

Also, this weekend, I'm just gonna go to Midwests. It would be foolish to try to set up another jam with that already going on. Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow. Give me a call, yall.

I would like to talk to yooou about some of the things, that you say, in your show,.. NOW

I'm meeting some people for the fireworks later, so at some point I'd like to be @ tastey.
We shall converse over the waves.

I'm leaving for Taste soon. I'll probably leave before the fireworks. Fucking slow moving crowds...
