Yeah, my Q2's have certainly seen better days as well (inside/outside tears, cracked sole, etc.) they did last longer than my lavers though...

Certainly looking forward to the new version ^_^.

I too have pre-ordered a pair of these wonderful shoes! Never played in Quantum's before as they didn't have my size previously

I called FreedomFootbags the other day and they said they're expecting the shoes to arrive Friday, so hopefully sending them out by the end of the weekend :P :D

OH SNAP Q3's SOON!

I got my black Quantum03s. I think they're okay, and I appreciate the stronger mesh. For some reason, though, they just don't look as sharp as the Quantum02 model. The only disappointing quality I see on my pair of Qm03s is that the leather strip that covers the toe tip is somewhat uneven on both sides on both shoes, while on the Qm02 model it looks pretty good.

I haven't worn mine for shred yet, and they're still mint, so I might send them back for a newer pair or just see what other people think in their own reviews. They are good shoes, and I'm fortunate to have even toe walls on mine, so I'm pretty satisifed. I just have to destroy my current pair of Qm02s before I give myself a chance to sport these babies.

edit: I'll upload some pics to see if I can argue my case just a bit, if people are interested.

I got my Quantums today, I think they are amazing! They are my first real hack shoes, but I have been hitting legovers all over the place, I've even hit a few with my lef leg wich is really horrible. Yes there is some uneveness, but not too much fro me.

did you get the recommended half-size higher? since i read that quantums stretch anyway and your regular size should be alright. and how do the q3's compare to lavers? i'm thinking about buying a pair tonight

They didn't have an 11.5 so no. (I also have wide feet) They streached out withing 15 min.

I haven't ever had lavers so I cant make a judgement on that. But they are way better than regular run of the mill skate shoes.
