So um...I played footbag today. Not in the morning. Just got out of the shower from it (it is 4:45). I swear Kayleigh has some "Mommy is thinking about getting up early" clock in her head, because every time I think about it, she finds a way into my bed or is up early, waiting for me. Never got a chance to play in the morning, yet. But anyways, I played. I think I gave myself heat exhaustion. I purposely played in the sun instead of the tree's shadow as usual so that I could get a tan. I felt really funny when I came inside. It happened another time a month or so ago. It was either that or some mixture of energy drinks or not so much food in my system (I ate a sandwich like 3 hours before playing). I dunno. I used up my last can of Monster Khaos (bought a 4-pack a while ago). I am not so much of a fan for energy drinks anymore. They are scary and stuff. I'm gonna try to switch to sports drinks. But I think I will stick with playing in the shade. I'll attempt to tan at other times.

Um. Wow, that was a random paragraph. There were some neighbor boys watching me. Every time I looked up, they were peeking through the porch, running away. Haha. I hit some decent tiltless runs and maybe guiltless. I wasn't paying attention. I also worked on getting my datws, whirls, and torques and stuff back. I kinda lost muscle memory on them.

I have been trying to make more real dinners for everyone lately. So far I made a cool chicken alfredo, sauteed potatoes and carrots, and salad dinner last week and a pork and brown gravy, au gratin potatoes, and sauteed green beans and mushrooms dinner yesterday. Yum yum. My point is to try to get Kayleigh to eat foods other than chicken nuggets and tater tots and for me to eat more fresh veggies, also to feed Mom when she gets home from a long day at work.

I also resubscribed to the Muscle and Fitness Hers magazine. They quit doing subscriptions a while ago, and I just noticed they started again. I like to read them, and I think they motivate me to stay on track with working out more. I don't have any big plans right now. I basically want to do a lot of cardio and maybe muscle endurance workouts for now...lose what I can. Then I want to start some weight training again, but not enough to get huge like I used to be. I like being smaller now that I lost some of my build.

We'll see how all of this goes. 8)

Mornings are still not happening.

I played today...with the intent to get my stepping and dlo attempts on video. Maybe you guys could help me out even though I realized a few things myself today. I'll post the video sometime soon.

I also hit a bunch of longer strings...random strings at the moment. Yay! Once I realized I was doing good, I decided to turn the camera back on. Then I sucked, and Kayleigh kept bothering me. Like, I couldn't even get a few kicks or toe stalls in before she was back at my feet. Blah.

Ha. Oh, and Kayleigh decided to poop and take her diaper off. Fun fun! She was playing in the pool, so I had to clean up wet...yeah.

Thank you for reminding me again why I don't want to have kids any time soon. :)

Post that video, I'm sure a lot of people would be happy to give you some good advice.

My thoughts on "sidewalk" is that the trick name is deceptive. to ME, it's less of a step to the side, but rather stepping diagonally back slightly.

I believe that attempting any trick from a frozen clipper is more difficult to do, so I personally would rather drop the bag into a clipper stall, then attempt it normally rather than holding the bag there in the stall for so long.

However, do the clipper like normal, but hold that clipper longer than you normally do (but only a teeny bit longer) I find that this gives me a good window to perform the stepping set better.

I think the key to this trick is a beautiful stepping set. then the rest is cake, since you already are good at butterfly.

cool?

It just dawned on me yesterday at work that I work with a kid who looks a lot like Vasek. 8O He was standing there talking to me, and as I was looking at his face, my eyes lit up like, "Wow..." Haha.

New title, missy! How is stepping coming? Or anything else you want to talk about?

Um. I haven't had a chance to play footbag lately, and the last two days I thought about it, it started pouring down rain as soon as I got off work. So stepping isn't happening. I'll let ya know next time I play. Anything in particular you are wanting me to talk about???

-Work is kicking my butt. I have been opening a few times a week now and stay til 4.
-Still doing school. One class is over this Sunday. Next one is done in a few weeks. Then I get a three week break!
-During that break I am going to Colorado to see my sis.
-I'm also going to Pa next weekend possibly for the Projekt Revolution Tour and definitely for Crabtree's fireworks...the awesomest fireworks ever (that I have seen). If I don't find someone to go to the concert, I will probably ask the Pittsburgh guys for a shred session.
-Went camping last weekend for the first-ish time (I've kinda done it before but not officially). I caught some salamanders for Kayleigh. One jumped on her shoulder and scared the crap outta her. Haha. I also caught a poisonous caterpillar. Yuck.
-My friend that I said disappeared texted me the other day out of nowhere (obviously). We had a couple of small text conversations over like two days. She seemed like she was finally coming back to the world, but I haven't heard from her since, so I dunno.
-One of the guys I met from playing Halo 2 on Xbox Live is coming up to see me this weekend.
-Don't know when, but I plan on taking Kayleigh to Georgia to see her Daddy's side of the family, too.

I'm a pretty busy person this summer.

Oh...my bad. I remember seeing someone from Butler, and I knew of you but never made the connection, I guess. I think I always thought you were from NY or the other side of PA...

Haha. I grabbed my bags to get ready to play today, and Kayleigh goes, "My kick it!" So they are called kick its now. Screw footbags and hacky sacks. I played today. It's been a while. I noticed a BIG difference in my legovers. Its like all of a sudden I can hit them correctly now. Yay! I pretty much worked on the basics today. That's about it. Off to go eat!

Ian, did you guys figure any good times to meet, yet?

And I will try to get a pic of the look-a-like. :P
