Alpine Food off my heel

That's all the I can remember. It wasn't goin' that good.

Thanks Kev!

Just had a "depressed" session. I'm feeling really down right and kicking kinda helped!

Highlight's;
Rubberman
Toe Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Dlo rpt > run
Stepping Mirage > Tap > Leg rpt > run
Tap > Atom rpt > run
Side > Rip rpt
Whirl > Whirl > Swirl > Swirl > Infinity > Whirl > Whirl > Osis > Osis > Whirl > Swirl drop
Gyro Clip (Zooming Style) Bsos, Spin Clip > Rip rpt Bsos, Rip Bsos and ended the run with Ripped and trying to save it with *Epic Voice* The Finger's of God, but that didn't work. I ended up collapsing after that long stretch.
Paradon > Barfly > Dyno Bs
Paradon Bsos
Barfly > Barfly, footed starting from either side, damnit I want this combo!
Toe Ss Symp Whirl and Ps Whirl in the same run
Worked a little on flip Toe Ss Symp Whirl and Ps Whirl, bleh!
Smear > Fear > Atom to start my first run
Had Symp Dod off my foot a few times. Is this dolomite or blackula?
Had an OK look Ps Torque and Symp Torque b2b

Over all, this was a pretty decent hour and 15 min session.

Next time I might get the camera out and record. The 1 shot thread looks kinda dull with no one posting vids in it.

Later fellow shredders and shreditas!

Just had a mediocre session. My legs never felt like the fully warmed up, and they were kinda stiff on certain tricks!

Highlight's;
BAP Drill > Run
Egg > Paradon bs
Barflies were off today
Swirl > Swirl > Swirl > Rev Swirl > Swirl > Rev Swirl > Rev Swirl > Swirl > Swirl > Osis > Run with 2 Far Symple Swirls and dropped on toe set Symple Rev Swirl
A run with Rev Whirling Rake and Whirling Rake (different feet), both drifter's (one from clip the other from toe) and both clip set Dlo's. 15 or 16 contacts
Stepping Whirl bs
Blurry Whirl > GYBAS
Blackula, I like how this trick feels!
Had a good look at Dolomite too!

I also tried some long guiltless run with some 4's and mostly 3's. Even throwing in BOP's and what not it's still tough. But then again, I guess I shouldn't really try it at the EOS but out of the 6 or 7 tries I averaged around 12-13 contacts. So it's not all that bad. But could be better.

Had a sweet hour and 20 min session just now! It rocked!

Highlight's;
Barfly > Barfly, FUCK YEAH!!!! Started on flip and got it! Had quite a few good looks at it starting on strong!
Dim > Stepping Lo rpt to start my first run!
Stepping Clip > Side > Rip rpt
Pixie Same Dod, is this Dimmiest? New 3!
Blackula > Dyno > Run with Toe Ss Symp Whirl > Dyno
Toe Whirl > Drifter > Dlo rpt
Trip > Blur > Toe Blur > Leg, my quantums are slowly getting better!
Blurry Drifter to start a run, haven't hit this in FOREVER!
Ton's and ton's of Dyno's today! And some Blender's
GYBAS > Blurry Whirl
Blurry Whirl > Scorp > Dyno > Run
Spinning Whirl > Scorp > Run
Atom x3
Barrage > Paradon bs
No Swirls, Torques or Ducking/Diving today.
Dyno > Dyno > Pdx Whirl bs
Dyno > Blender > Blender > Dyno, footed first try, haven't hit this in a LONG time!
Trip > Dyno > Run
Gyno
Gyro Clip (Zooming style) Bsos
Gyro Blender > Handcatch

Yup, it was a good session! Loved it! Next time I might bring out the camera and make a vid. Maybe. Who know's!

Peace footbaggers!

:cry:

I'm out till my back heals. I don't know what I did exactly, but I either tweaked something in my lower back or pulled something. Whatever it is, I can't stand straight up or lay down flat. Getting up from laying down is a bitch and so is laying on my stomach.

Hopefully more heat and blistering hot bath's will help some. I think I'm gonna go get some ice and put it on, maybe it'll help. Hopefully it'll help. Hopefully a good night sleep will get rid of it.

:cry:

Thanks Kev! I don't plan on kicking until my back is healed completely! I'm not gonna ruin my body by returning to quick.

Last night;

Just a side note. Last night my dad figured that my back wasn't that bad and made me help move the couch out to the garage. We're getting our house re-painted. Needless to say. MY BACK WAS KILLING ME AFTERWARD!! We had to move his chair too, but I came in from the garage lower back/legs shaking and me almost in tears! I hobbled to my room and I broke down! Every little move I did hurt like hell! After my 10 min break down, I went out and got a glass of milk then crashed for the night.

Today;

Today started out good. I could stand straight up, and there wasn't very much pain. My girl started school today and she wanted me to be with her on the bus. So I got a good figure on how much my back can take. It didn't really start bothering me till we had lunch. I've figured out that my back likes it when I lay down and relax, and it hates me for sitting for too long. Needless to say, I sat up for too long at lunch. After my back starts to act up, it also hates me for standing up. I ended up helping my dad and friend on a couple of things around the house.

I don't think my back is as bad as last night. But I haven't been up and down all that much like I was yesterday. I haven't used a heater pad today, or any ice. I had a nice warmish-hot shower earlier and it kinda helped. Tomorrow, I'll probably take a nice hot bath and watch some Anime at the same timed!

Ok, enough of this depressing shit! I'll probably start stitching my trade bag to Alf soon! I can't wait to recieve the bag I'm getting from him! It looks so beautiful! Country Cream pent's, Dark Green Ammarretta hex's. It's simply marvelous!

Talk to y'all on the flipside!

P.S. Anyone have a lower back that's an organic metal, will grow with me, and is highly flexible?

Okay your dad making you help him move the couch was just straight up irresponsible.

Here's some non-doctor advice from someone (me) who went through a lower-back injury:

Stop lifting things, or bending over too much.

A really good thing for lower back is heat, soaking hot towels on the lower back is great. If you have a gf or something that could help put them on while you lay on your stomach that's the best. You put em on for about 15 minutes, once a day.

If you can afford it, shop for a heating pad. Lay on it for about 15 minutes before you go to sleep each night.

I would take 2 advil a couple times a day. It'll get the inflamation in your muslces down, and help relax you while killing the pain.

Do this and your back should heal up (barring it's not a serious injury) in 2-4 weeks. Even after it's done it'll probably still nag you slightly, and this will take a while to eventually stop, like months to a year. If it doesn't get better in 2-4 weeks I would definitely see a doctor.

But I can't stress enough if you don't take care of it, it can be a life-long injury. Backs take a LONG time to heal completely, especially if not treated properly. My dad injured his back when he was around 18. He's in his 50s and his back still gives him problems.

Thanks Chris!

Update on my back;

It's doing a lot better! I can stand up straighter than I have been able to since the incident, and through out most of the day. But, if I'm on my feet for long periods of time, somewhere around 20 min's and on, I can really feel my lower back starting to tighten up some. Laying down, right now, is the best for my back and keeps me out of the most pain! I can sit up with only slight, very slight, discomfort unless I twist or move suddenly.

I helped my dad move his two dressers back into his room, seeing as we're down working on the house. For now. My back didn't give me too much trouble while moving the dressers. Needless to say, I did lay down after getting both of them into his bedroom. Also I did some minor footbag stuff today to see what my back would do. I did some clippers and swirls, both sides. Just doing a clipper or swirl doesn't irritate my back in anyway. But doing clipper's b2b does irritate it some. Especially starting from flip, cause that's the side I have to turn the most. And that's the extent of my footbagging for awhile.

Today we, we as in me, my dad and our friend, were out for most of the afternoon. My back didn't give me much trouble till I started hauling around a lil something that we bought. Maybe it was just the unusual packaging, but after carrying it for 10 min's I could really start to feel my back.

My back is doing a lot better than it has been earlier this week. I guess my regenerative powers have started to kick in, finally. I'm still gonna take a few more days, maybe weeks, off of footbag. I'm hoping to start kicking again when I no longer feel my back, and I can do things for longer than 20 min's without feeling my back.

Laters...

Josh,

Hi! Sorry your back is injured. I have had a few of those over the years too. Just take care of yourself. Chris' advice sounds pretty good and it should be followed or something simliar. Quit lifting things is a major one!

I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to go on mod for a while. I will update my fblog tonight if I am not to busy at work, hopefully.

Great tricks before the injury. barfly>barfly & barrage>paradon are both combo's I want some day!!! Wow! Nice!

Well take care of yourself!!!!

later,
Mike Jauss

Thanks Mike! You'll get those combo's soon. I know it!

My back hasn't been bothering me much, if at all, today. I felt it when I woke up this morning, but that's about it! I helped my dad move that parts for the bed back into the spare room, and also the chair and love seat back into the living room all with no pain or anything! I'm still gonna take it easy, and not play any real footy bag!

Today I got my Alf bag in the mail! Boy is it a sweet bag!! It's a hybrid, with green amarretta hex's and country cream hex's, 55 grams, and it's butter! Expect a pic soon, but not too soon! I also got some amaretta of my own, so be expecting some Munster hybrids soon :wink:

My dad and I went and saw The Dark Knight today. IT WAS AWESOME!! Lot's of action, lot's of input and twists and turns! Great stuff!

Alright!!! Had my session today!!

40 min's of pure bliss!

Highlight's;
Barfly > Barfly, starting on strong!!! Ohhh yeah!!!
Barrage > Paradon > Barfly, bs! Almost bsos!!
Step Clip > Side > Blurry Lo > Magellan > run
Flip Ripped Warrior > run, couldn't get my balance good enough to get a good look at strong
Some decent runs, I think my longest was something like 13 or 15. Not bad for not playing in over a week!
One HUGE Tripwalk > Run
Atom > Atom > Pixie Ss Clip > Dyno > Barfly
Twirl > Spinning Osis, using strong twirl
Twirl > Blurry Osis, using weak twirl

That's it. It felt great to work up a sweat doing sometihng I like! I might kick again tomorrow, who know's!

Oh, I also forgot to mention my dad got his life-long back injury while working for a moving company. While lifting furniture...

Seriously I honestly can't believe your dad was still making you do that. It's just a shame really. Like how does someone suddenly need a ton of furniture moved around the second his son gets a back injury haha. Glad you're feeling better, but man you're not taking good enough care of that in my opinion.
