If the weather is unfriendly we will go to Olybad .

Bjoern, if you read this, i say we can also meet in your hood, if you

Hi everyone,

can't make it on the 15th... have to do a presentation on the 16th. The CEO of the 1,000 Million Euro company which bought us comes to our factory... anyway I don't care as long as they pay me good money every month :D

I agree with Tobi the "Munich Footbag" is not alive anymore. (I'm going to shut down the website pretty soon) But this doesn't mean the there won't be any Footbag in Munich. And this happens whenever we play.

Actually I play almost every week for an hour or two  not much but better than nothing.

I would love to have a fixed footbag time every week. Like every wendsday or whatever. I could make it to some spot in the city around 18:00 to 18:30. But we everyone should agree on this date so we can be sure that there are at least two of us. I have to know that, otherwise I wouldn't go... just a waste of time.

Bjoern is this to late for you? When is your shift? I guess this will change when you start at that lawyer place? Anyway maybe you can find one day per week.

I always try to sneak in a few hours of sport every week. Otherwise I would go cracy.

So maybe I see some of you again sometime in the future...

The best is to send me a text on my mobile cause I don't check modified, and all my personal email accounts are flooded with spam.

From what I gather from the blog, Munich footbag is kaput.
But is anybody going to Worlds? More importantly, is anyone driving to Worlds and has room in a car? :P My ideal choice is the Mitfahren carpooling, which my girlfriend has used, but I don't read German well enough to figure that out for myself.

Max
Hmpf . Why didnt you tell me that on monday when you came by my store ?

To me its sad enuff that i dont see you shine and shred anymore, but
announcing the end of something, while the only thing that has actually changed
are your priorities, is confusing and counterproductive, to say
the least . ( see Erik's post )

As for our website : i dont know how much trouble it would be to keep it
alive until we created a replacement .
I can see that there is no point in its maintanance for you personally, but the
rest of us clearly benefit from having one - and since you started
the site for all of us, since this the only adress where noobs and tv people
can find us, it would be nice to have it around at least for a while.

I will meet the other two remaining regulars on tuesday, and we'll post
a fixed day afterwards, so that you, Bjoern and Toby can find your way back a little easier .

as for the website:

I'd say we upload all cool videos to youtube and I put the smaller content to my webspace... or do we also loose http://www.munich-footbag.de/ as a domain name??

as for the trix:

I'm definitively goin to Worlds! and I'd like to brush up my rusty-leg-skillz before! but today no way josé! :-(

wednesday is always good I'd say.

wednesday then :D.

Andi and Bea are also up for it, so i say that wednesday is the fixed
date we were looking for - as for tomorrow, Andi suggested to play in the
circumference of tollwood .

We meet at 1900 at the basketball court that one passes on the way
from infantriestrasse to the festival site .

Besides shredding and busking, we will hopefully also find a time
and a location for our future wednesday meetings, which will make
attending the sessions a lot easier for Bjoern and Max .

See y'all in shorts,

I've revived my old blog, for those who didn't know. since munich-footbag
is on hold right now, and the only place to read about progress in munich is daryl's, I fired up my old blog again. I will still post here though.

As for the videos - most of them are on my footbag.org media gallery.
I will upload the newer ones sooner or later.

I miss all of you!

ps I played today! first time in 2 months....ooh my stamina....

word up dude :D:D:D ! if i remember correctly, you hit 21,22 and 23 and
before that you had many runs around the 17-mark -
so, to me thats not only a "lucky" record, but a sign of solid progress,
since you were high up in the numbers quite a lot .

if you can find it in your heart to drill BOTH clippers for like 30 min
a day, you will be golden soon - and pls believe me, the rewards
make all the sweat and heavy cursing worthwhile .

Does anybody has news or a number of Andreas Peier, who was/is in Munich atm ?

I would love to meet up with him for dnacing and a little shred !

Right now I started working on an exclusive Munich-Footbag Anthology
DVD
, which basically has all the videos ever made, from 2003 to now.

Is there any interest for a complete DVD Package (2 Disc set - The
Munich Footbag DVD plus my Footjam 2005 Documentary)? Since
I have very limited time on my hands and this is a lot of work, I would
have to charge a little bit for it. I hope that's OK with you guys.

Who would like one?

The Plus: Most of the crew shred videos will be in excellent quality as
I still have the raw files :)

The length of the DVDs will be ~2 hours for the Munich DVD, and 40minutes for the Footjam documentary!!

ps: Max I sms'd you about the Pokito DVD - the show should definately
be on the DVD!

sorry 'bout the double post..

if enough people are interested in the DVD set, I might do this and add more stuff like
players biographies, photo slideshows of tournaments, sessions etc....

It would have a full cover, too!

the dvd sounds awesome. I or bea (see my text) try to send you the dvd this week.

for the munich-footbag.de website. it costs 5 € every month, this is not a lot of money bit it's still wasted money. I don't want to pay it anymore.
And I say we could use the last money of our club for something else...
But if someone wants to have the url we can change the contract to this person, and then this person can take care of paying for the site. Otherwise it will be down.

so that's why I'm going to cancel it :) no big deal

and as toby said we could move the content to his page

I downloaded the complete website to my HD, so it's saved.
Thanks for running it Max!

Concerning the Munich Footbag Anthology DVD:

- more than 2 hours of footage
- All crew shred videos
- All Player Specials
- Lots of Tournament footage
- Bonus Clips you may have never seen before
- Picture Gallery with more than 70 pictures from over 5 years
- Most Videos in excellent never-seen-before-quality
- 2 DVD- Box-Set including a cover (2nd DVD is the Footjam05 Documentary
in High Quality)

Basically, the DVD encompasses almost everything Footbag in Munich
for the last 7 years (!)

I will sell it for 10 Euros (There's more than 15 hours of work
into it, and then there's the Materialkosten, so I think it's not
too much).

Munich Footbag e.V. won't be forgotten!! 8)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a side note - I really hope we can get a fixed date together.
If wednesday works, I'll see if I can come shred after work sometime.
Let's meet up everybody when Erik comes!!

Max, I'll send you a pm with the club details (Notar etc.)

hi guys,

sweet with the DVD! of course I'd take one. but we need fresh material! lets get it on!

yeah, all talk, no action. especially my bad... i dont practise at all currently.. hope to see some of you tonight. I dont have much time, but wanna be in the gym from 6 to 7.30 at least...

website: yeah, I can put all html-pages (not videos) online to my webspace.... as for the name: lets grab some free redirecting thing then... I still have www.footfighters.de, got the domain for free. but dont know if we wanted to abuse the (dead) koblenz crew's name ;-)

props to andi! holy cr*p! 21 tiltless! you r the man!

andi peier was in munich and we met up at westpark to hang out and have some mass. he staid at my place the night but went on to Dresden/Prague/whatever the day after... maybe he might show up on his way back... i can PM you the cellphone # if ya want.

cheers!!!
