Just moved to San Francisco - need people to freestyle with
Hi Anyone and everyone who kicks in SF.
I just moved here and would like to start playing regularly. I'm available weekday evenings after ~7pm and most weekends. I'm in the Richmond district but I don't really know good places to shred so any advice would be great!
Feel free to either post here or e mail me at [email protected]. If there aren't any clubs or groups still going I'd like to start one through footbag.org as I miss my old club in Vancouver : (

pst here is a secret

Turns out there is going to be a...... FOOTBAG TOURNAMENT MAY 24th! Also some high profile players will be there.
Then Stanford Footbag club kicks at the Stanford White Plaza every Tuesday from 3-7pm usually. I know you can access it through the BART. We're a pretty large size of committed players, on average there are 8 players that show up. But it sounds like our club might now work for you:(
But really the tournament is going to be the best way to connect.
I am currently in Green Bay right now, but I'd be happy to pick you up from the BART once I come back to Cali (if and whenever you could attend:) (its about 1-2 miles away from the Stanford White Plaza)
email me if you have questions.

Yeah! Come out to the event for sure. If you need any info besides what's in the thread, or if you just want to make contact with someone who is going to be at the event, PM or e-mail me.

Cool - I'll be there! Looking forward to making some contacts and getting into the scene down here : )
For anyone else browsing this thread, I'll still be looking to start a group at the northern end of the city weekday evenings and / or weekends!

Hey there!!!
How's the new group going? I've been kicking since the Green Cup and am hoping to find kickers more local than Palo Alto (me = no drivey).
I'm in Oakland...5 minute bike ride from Lake Merritt Bart and have a really cool place to kick!!!!
I kick everyday and could TOTALLY use some guidance. Would be down to travel to SF, if BART/bike friendly.
Wooooohooooo!

It's not much of a group (myself, +2 when they're about) but I've been playing 1-2 times / week. I usually drive to random spots to play or just play in GG park. One of the people I play with is in Oakland so I'm sure meeting up there would be fine. Let me know where you kick - we're going to set something up for Sunday or Monday evening - we can just play there, likely.

Hey,
I'd be up for playing once in awhile, I live in the richmond so we might be neighbors. Shoot me an email, maybe like some random weekend we could play.
