Verena came down from Copenhagen to play with me yesterday.
It's kinda cool that 3 weeks ago nobody have ever came down to play with me and now two really cool and great shredders came down to hang and play.

The weather wasn't very good so we played inside the train station and outside when there was a break in the rain.
Verena is crazy good at footbag and she can pixie out of everything!
Her Pdx Whirls are so clean and tight! They look awesome.

I played okay. Hit Swirl bsos in a run with Rev Swirl bsos again.
I also hit DATW > PLO rpt first try and some other good stuff.
I still drop too much and my foundation really annoyed me.

Verenas warm up runs was so long of titless and guitless!
I gotta practice basic titless and guiltless drills way more!

Footbag!!!!

It was also nice to talk a bit of english. I do that way too little.
Maybe I should get Skype or something.

Can't wait to kick with you again soon... we'll have to shred up the festival big time... can't believe the crew that's going.. it's gonna be good.

We can have a nice little girly girl cirkle with Lise, Verena, me and you - we'll finde a nice wig and give you a bra filled up with footbags.. then you should be ready to shred like a girl (which is not that bad, if you start shredding like Lise and Verena!!!).

Two days and I am going to Copenhagen.
3 days and I will be at Roskilde! FUCK YEAH!

I hit Tripwalk bsos and Slapdown bsos in the same run yesterday.
Other than that I don't play much I don't really have any good bags.

The other day I went to a midsummer eve party at my girlfriends place.
I guess that's a danish tradition, so I will have to explain:
You just make a big fire on some date so you have an excuse to get drunk.
It's actually some old viking thing but now we say it's because it's John the Baptists birthday.

ROSKILDE FESTIVAL JUST ENDED AND IT WAS A BLAST!

I went to Copenhagen last friday (27th of June) and met up with Verena and crashed out at her place.

On saturday morning we met up with most of the other players and took a cab to the event site.
I first got back today monday (7th of July) so exactly 10 days of partying, shredding and loads fun.

A friend of mine died on sunday. He commited suicide after some big problems with his girlfriend.
It made the week quite hard for me but I was able to put it aside most of the time and enjoy myself.
I know that would have been in his spirit.

Other than that I missed my girlfriend alot through the week which sucked hard cock and still does.

Okay enough of me rambling..

Footbag highlights:
- Playing with amazing players!
- Keeping a decent mental game even though the stage sucked and I had some pretty hard hangovers.
- Playing hacky sack with good freestylers
- DATW > Pixie Pickup > Rpt
- DATW * 8 > Handcatch
- Terrage > Toe Ducking Rev Whirl
- Like 15 contacts of only clipper tricks
- Puzzling people with creative tricks.

Festival highlights:
- Hanging out with sooo many amazing people
- Drinking and smoking all day, every day
- Mads Hole bringing 7 wigs and 9 pairs of glasses or something like that
- Swedish drunken guy who ate my ISO mat
- Albertslund Terror Korps, Swollen Members and Chemical Brothers!
- Nis singing stupid songs and telling stories about Jamaica
- Lise Thygesen for being my favorite older sister.
- Eating great meals whenever I wanted.
- The Skate Area where we shredded the first couple of days. So Chill!

I can't think right now. I still have slept way too little.

Hey People!

Been awhile, lots of stuff going on in the life of Asmus Helms.

I made it to the session in Berlin. Came an hour late because I almost got my ass kicked by some rastafarians when I didn't wanna buy any weed from them.
It was nice to see the Berlin guys again. They are so good at footbag. Jakob Wagner blow me away everytime I see him.
I took a decillion photos from Berlin. I will upload them to my blog from time to time. Here is the first batch "Stencils in Berlin".

I had birthday the other day (Thanks for all the greetings on facebook).
Got some great gifts, some art books and alot of money.

My girlfriend gave me the most awesome gift but I can't really write about it in here.

Speaking about my girlfriend, shit is going so well it's amazing.

I also got a gift from Lise Thygesen. Super surprised and stoked about that.

I hit 35 titless today. I think that's my record. Gonna try to beat it every session. Thanks for the advice Mosh.

Gonna finish a new painting soonish. Can't wait to put it out on the street for free.

Watched Episode I and half of Episode II today.

A couple of days ago I was at a party at a friends house.
Me and two other guys chose in the middle of the night to bike 20 kilometers to this festival and jump the fence.
We did it and it have been some crazy days I can assure you.

I just played footbag. Played shitty and out of balance.
My back hurt. Probably from sleeping on the ground for some days.
I did hit two things I liked:
Flip DATW > Flip Dimwalk > Flip PS Rev Whirl > Run
Swirl > Guay > Same Muted Drifter > Run

I have chosen to go a new way with my artwork.
Gonna stop working on canvas and try to be less cartoony.

Ida is amazing.
It is really going well and I look forward to go to Prague with her.
It gonna be interesting to see how things will work out when we go back to school but I am really positive.
