You mentioned your build above.. I wanted to actually ask about that but didn't want to pry. But now the door is open, so I'll pry :-)

Height? Realistic goal weight? (I say realistic goal weight, because I know it's sensitive to talk about actual current weight)

What was your best sport growing up?

My guesses are: 6 foot tall, goal weight of 190-200. Can't guess on the sport growing up really.

I'm a bigger (and I say "bigger" to mean "not Matt Cross" sized.. not a dig or anything like that) guy too (6'2", starting weight = 238, current weight = 197, grew up playing basketball) but think I should write a book "Losing weight through hack the sack" ha ha

I will say this... for a (currently) not-matt cross-sized fellow, I've been particularly impressed with your athleticism in hitting some tough tricks. Good dexes and good leg speed. I think your efforts to get more into 'footbag shape' will really do wonders in allowing that natural talent come out even more.

Height 6'1''
non sensitive current weight: 250 lbs
favorite sport growing up: skateboarding, juggling, (all singles freestyle sports "footbag is soccer for people who have no friends")

I was down to 238 at worlds last year. wintertime in michigan kills all footbag and or active activities and thus, I tend to get the dunlop disease. my belly dunlop over the beltline. and the furniture disease. my chest falls down to my drawers.

The first tournament I ever went to was the Seattle Juggling and Footbag Festival in ?November 2004? Nasty Nate was at that tournament as well. He was a bigger guy at that point in time (I hope he doesn't get offended if he reads this). He also ripped it up all weekend and I believe he won rippin' run as well. Good luck on your goal.

Shit, if you drop the pounds you're aiming to drop I can tell you (from experience) footbag will get so much easier. Especially since you already can do cool shit! Nice, good luck

Interesting visual: I've lost about 40 pounds so far (41 to be exact). That's about equal to trying to shred with 2-3 gallons of milk... in each hand. Go to the supermarket, grab 2 gallons in each hand and try to jump. Make sure no one is looking first.

Thanks Guys! I was sore after trying that spinning illusion about 50 times so today I decided to try something different. Juggling/Footbag experimental stuff, check it out.

I purposefully wanted to do some bops and some spins on both sides and then I felt like trying spinning _____ and tried it about 30-40 times and I said, I give myself 3 more tries and I will move on to something else.

1st try: crap, not even close.
2nd try: worse than crap, didn't even come remotely close.
3rd try: hit it... kind of junky though, but have mercy on me, it was the first time I ever hit that trick, you'll see.

Recently there was a post by someone who stole another persons identity identity and said some malicious things about someone whom I respect. At the time of the post I did not know that the post was bogus. When I read it, I was concerned that it may be a false post because the person who wrote it only had 1 post and no topics. BUT, I got carried away in emotion and wanted to support the person who was spoken evil of. I said some rude things that I regret and I am learning that I ought to keep my mouth shut.

I was wrong and I apologize.

HOWEVER, If anyone knows what I am talking about... I would like to know who it was that posted under the false name. Who does that? Who intentionally causes strife and drama for laughs and what not? Who would purposefully cause divisions in our group? Anyone know? PM me and give me the goods, that way I can take care of this situation the way I should have originally. Thank you.

Hey Paul. I have no idea what was going on in that thread, or who was involved, but I just wanted to say don't sweat anything. The internet is full of trolls, and they just LOVE it when they can provoke people into reacting. I appreciate your desire to stand up for me, but in these situations the best response usually is to just ignore them. The post in question rolled right off my back, and I figure if it's something that I don't care about, then its certainly not worth it for other people to get worked up over it.

Also just wanted to wish you luck with your regimen. I look forward to seeing your results; I hope you have as much success as Bob Riefer did.
